Mrs Gary may I ask what Vyper is please?

MrsGaryLightbody · 13/08/2019 14:08

@Countrygirl38 oh goodness I'm not the expert so hopefully @Otterses will be along soon if I've said tho incorrectly. It's an app where pics of food or products pop up and you say if you like or would buy . Once you get to 10000 points you exchange for £5 into your PayPal. Sounds a lot of points to collect but it's so simple especially as it's an app. My grandchildren said it's like food tinder Confused

MrsGaryLightbody · 13/08/2019 14:09

It's Vypr sorry

Countrygirl38 · 13/08/2019 14:25

Oooh thanks Mrs Gary that sounds good!

WellAlrightWellOK · 13/08/2019 14:28

@MrsGaryLightbody
Thanks
I didn't realise the Pinterest jobs came up every night, I thought they were just weekends. I'm not usually up too late through the week so maybe that's why I've been missing them.
Good idea about the profile, I haven't changed it since I joined so I'll have a look and see what I can update.
Thanks again for your help.Smile

MrsGaryLightbody · 13/08/2019 14:31

Not every night, but usually fairly late evening early morning. Also Saturday evening about 9 ish.
Good luck

@MrsGaryLightbody
Thank you Smile
I'll try having a few late nights.

pisspants · 13/08/2019 15:28

what is the best site for uploading job adverts? I took a couple of pics when in town earlier but am not sure where I should upload them! thanks x

seizethecuttlefish · 13/08/2019 15:32

@Countrygirl38 drop me a message if it's easier. But it's mainly chatting about everything and anything to guys that have signed up on a dating site. The good thing is you get the same people back, if they reply. So that makes it quicker. It's about 75% sex chat and 25% general chit chat. Drop me a line, I'm happy to go through what I know.

Zebrimid · 13/08/2019 16:45

How long did cloudworkers take to get back to you after initial application? I applied Friday night so hoping I might hear something back from them soon.

seizethecuttlefish · 13/08/2019 17:22

Cloudworkers got back to me the next day with details of the role. I completed the pack and returned it (it took a week, as I wasn't sure), then the next day I got a message to arrange training.

m00rfarm · 13/08/2019 17:36

I think cloudworkers are desperate for new people right now.

CatHopeful · 13/08/2019 17:48

With help from my husband, got my head around creating an Excel invoice and have emailed it over to Crisp. Fingers crossed everything is in order and the bank transfer happens swiftly!

Zebrimid · 13/08/2019 18:00

I've stuck in another application to cloudworkers, hopefully will get a response soon. I just wrote a one liner for the why they should hire me bit, maybe I should of expanded a bit more?

Mamaslave18 · 13/08/2019 19:09

Is anybody else still waiting to be paid for the Fletcher job on Appen??

seizethecuttlefish · 13/08/2019 22:37

@Mamaslave18 me too and that's coming up for three weeks. I'm choosing to believe they were stunned by my hey Portal voice, especially towards the end, when it was said through gritted teeth!!!!

ChubRubTub · 13/08/2019 23:14

Quick Appen question. Have you added to your profile section? Does this get used to decide whether to take you on for projects? Any idea who it's visible to?

Thanks!

pisspants · 14/08/2019 00:17

I have vypr but every time I check there doesnt seem to be anything on it. Do I just have to keep checking a bit like prolific?

user000000000001 · 14/08/2019 07:53

Hi, found this thread a couple of days ago and have applied for crisp and signed up to Appen.

Quick question, do I need to fill out a tax return if I earn anything? What are others doing about this?

Zebrimid · 14/08/2019 08:03

I had that but I've recently realised I need to do the pull down refresh thing, where you drag the screen down to refresh your emails or app in this case! And then I find stuff appears.

Otterses · 14/08/2019 08:19

@user000000000001

Yes, if you earn over £1000 extra in the tax year. There's a £1000 Trading allowance Smile there's actually a really good explanation and guide over on money saving expert.

I'll catch up later! I'm taking the afternoon off work Grin

user000000000001 · 14/08/2019 08:25

@Otterses Thank you, I’ll take a look!

TheLolaMontez · 14/08/2019 09:10

I had an email FINALLY in response to my asking yet again about fletcher. Apparently my work is still being "quality checked" Hmm they're taking their bloody time about it!
