Dadaabc, I've also applied to sayabc and another one, which I can't remember the name of, I will update when I am at my computer! They're a bit more formal then palfish and on pc instead of mobile but better paid.

whatthewhatthewhat · 12/08/2019 10:19

@Bemystarlord so I'm not the only one constantly refreshing my emails! 🤣

MrsWombat · 12/08/2019 12:00

Appen pay day is normally the 14th or the Friday before if it falls at the weekend. Last month it did it's magic overnight so fingers crossed for Wednsday morning.

seizethecuttlefish · 12/08/2019 12:07

Question for those teaching English, any advice on the best TEFL to do? Are they much of the same? I'm a bit frustrated, 20 years of training adults and training trainers I have to do TEFL HmmGroup varies from £29-£50 and not all say accredited.

Wolfff · 12/08/2019 12:21

@Bemystarlord
Me too. Really annoying, I am off work for a couple of weeks.
There seems to be a fairly similar one on Utest which I have applied for.

m00rfarm · 12/08/2019 12:22

I have had my payment info in from Crisp today :)

justtheonethen · 12/08/2019 12:25

Same, statements are out Smile

whatthewhatthewhat · 12/08/2019 12:34

I am being so dense. Have no idea how to make a PayPal invoice?

whatthewhatthewhat · 12/08/2019 12:36

Found the walkthrough on the wiki!

MrsWombat · 12/08/2019 12:39

Has anyone on Appen been accepted for the Altamaha project yet?

BlackCatFan · 12/08/2019 13:21

@whatthewhatthewhat did you submit your invoice ok? I've just done it now, hope it was right....! We'll see if/when I get paidSmile at least I've got the amount I was roughly expecting.

MynameisJune · 12/08/2019 13:21

Excited about this, just been accepted on my first paid people for research survey.

Only really signed up for surveys at the minute, having issues with populous live. I’ve signed up but when I log in I can’t find any surveys on the website. Am I missing something?

m00rfarm · 12/08/2019 13:31

You pay commission on PayPal I think

seizethecuttlefish · 12/08/2019 13:32

@MrsWombat I'm still in progress but most of mine say that!

whatthewhatthewhat · 12/08/2019 14:15

@BlackCatFan no idea if I've done it right! Hope PayPal don't take too much!

anxiouswaiting · 12/08/2019 14:23

Got my Crisp invoice, I am confused about rates though, is the rate your average? All my twitter for example are at a rate of 0.333 but some of those I would have done during a surge or 1.1 or 1.2, others just normal rate. So do they just bundle it all together and tell you the average or am I not getting surge payment?

AdaShelby · 12/08/2019 15:09

I've had my Crisp paid already with PayPal, that's so quick.

m00rfarm · 12/08/2019 15:34

Can anyone do surges? I thought you had to be special to do those so I am only doing mod2 and monitoring.

anxiouswaiting · 12/08/2019 16:15

@m00rfarm surges are part of mod 2 and monitoring, when theres a surge there is increased payment for your items on mod 2 and monitoring. They let you know by writing on slack eg. x 1.2 monitoring

m00rfarm · 12/08/2019 16:17

So do you automatically get the extra money? Do you have to tell them you are doing it? (I bet there is something I should have read but for the life of me I cannot recall it!)

tinkywinkyshandbag · 12/08/2019 16:19

Hi does anyone know if you can retake Crisp? Would I need to use a different email? Thanks. Have heard from Appen and applied for a few but waiting for approval.

justtheonethen · 12/08/2019 16:44

@m00rfarm you automatically get them

@anxiouswaiting I think they add on the .2 or whatever of an item so instead of that item being worth more it just looks like you have done more than you have.

justtheonethen · 12/08/2019 16:45

@tinkywinkyshandbag no just redo it with the same email until you pass.

tinkywinkyshandbag · 12/08/2019 16:48

@justtheonethen thank you I think if I actually concentrate I might get it right!

SorryDidISayThatOutLoud · 12/08/2019 18:15

I thought I had done about £10 on Crisp so was pleasantly surprised to see it was £56 ! It's encouraged me now!!
