Problem with yawn is she thinks everyone is in awe of her. She thinks everyone is 'inspired' by her 'success'

DownThePan · 18/08/2019 20:01

How do Wig and Sleaze continue to dupe so many given their poor track record? Whatever new scam they announce, they have so much feedback from excited parties who just can't wait to sign up.

MLMhun · 18/08/2019 20:04

Is Hydro Phil MLM? It seems to be all eco friendly (wooden toothbrushes etc) but the way a friend is peddling it is making me wonder.

DownThePan · 18/08/2019 20:08

@MLMHun Hydrophil have affiliate selling but I can't see an MLM option from a quick glance at their web site. How is your friend selling it? Does she have a branded web site for selling their products?

MLMhun · 18/08/2019 20:10

Thanks for the quick reply@downthepan. Yes, she has a branded fb page for it but is also sharing links on her main business page.

DownThePan · 18/08/2019 20:20

I've seen their products at a local craft fair so I guess anyone can buy and resell. If she's not trying to recruit anyone then it's probably just commission-based.

TheHorseOnSeventhAvenue · 18/08/2019 20:47

So Castle’s BFF is on FB saying network marketing is the future.

Is she genuinely thick or last gasps of desperation.

She’s had a great income and the Planner business was good for a time. She looks great and has skills, sales, planning, organisation and tenacity.

I wonder what has gone wrong that people do not realise that in a real JOB that’s worth quite a good salary, benefits and security.

Unfortunately, be it Nurse, Yawn, PHD or even my smart friends who got in to FL it was never really about family friendly, the pull is get-rich with minimal effort and it doesn’t matter how you do it.

The only ‘nice’ people I know who got involved in MLMs were out in 6 months.

worcestersauce29 · 18/08/2019 20:57

Thank you, I've found 'yawn' I'm in awe reading her posts....not in a good way!

Sforsh49 · 18/08/2019 21:09

Nurse has drawn her competition. She doesn't say what the winner will receive, just a "free product" what's the bets it'll be an Aloe Lips?

TheOutside · 18/08/2019 23:39

Mortgage Bots' micro accounts December 2018.

Does this show profit after expenses?

2015 was all about showing off £5k+ pay slips. She is a Mean Girls type character, sickly sweet baby voice to your face but who would turn everyone against you in a flash, much like Castle.

She clung on and clung on. I know it, you know it but most of all she knows she has taken on this job because she has rinsed her team for what she can and now she has to make money and as wonderfully phrased up thread, she has had to un-sack the boss.

She owned a salon for a while whoch she sold within a year claiming it was too much alongside her forever business, so wanting something to run alongside forever is BS.

JaniceBattersby · 18/08/2019 23:47

I’ve never seen such absolute bollocks as Yawn’s pension claims. Her ‘upline’s mother’ earns triple after retiring because ‘upline’ happens to be UK#2 bot FFS. If Yawn retired now who exactly does she think in her downline would continue to bring in a massive income for her? Nurse?

TheOutside · 18/08/2019 23:54

7 Mar 2017

"Usually I ignore gossip but maybe if I put the record straight as to why I'm selling the salon people can stop badgering my staff for information or even worse, badgering their friends! As everyone who knows me will know lee & I already have two successful businesses. Last year my focus was taken off my Forever business when trying to run the salon, get married, move house etc, we then found out we were having another baby which is due to arrive any day now which has changed circumstances completely. My forever business & my children will always be my number one priority. One of the businesses has to go as I can't possibly run them all with two small children at home & so the salon is the one. Nothing sinister and I'm afraid no exciting gossip either. Hope that clears it up!"

More frighteningly, she had another lady sell a salon, I'm not sure if its the same salon.

31st Mar 2016 (the same month she bought a salon)
"Thank you so much XXXXX for the lovely card - end of an era for you but also the start of new beginnings for both of us. I'm so proud that you've been able to make your dream of selling the salon come true and pursue your Forever business full time & I promise we'll look after the salon now you've gone. Love you lots ❤️❤️"

I wonder how much of the money XXXX made in the sale of her salon funded Mortgages lifestyle as she plundered it into Forever Sad

Whiterangey · 19/08/2019 00:53

It's all just bullshit.

BFF had to get a £10k loan last year for her business. They will never admit it though. Everything is still rosy and great and everything.

People like BFF and Mortgage bot will be eligible for some benefits. maybe not Mortgage as her DH is working again now.

How can you claim huge earnings while claiming child tax credits, which a lot of the bots will be able to do.

I wonder if all the bots know how badly they are all doing. I read on pinktruth that they would all believe it was only them doing badly and didn't want to admit they were losing money to others. All of the others were in exactly the same position and didn't want to admit it to the others who they thought were making money.

Jigsawpuzzle · 19/08/2019 08:28

What I don’t understand about the products in MLM is most people live near a town/city and there is Amazon. If you want shakes multivitamins make up etc then it is doable. I have gone back to soap for hand washing and am using Pears which is over £2 in Asda for 4.
When Nurse went on about aluminium in deodorant that rumour has been going on for years, even before I had my DCs who are 32 & 29. If it was dangerous then the EU would have dealt with it.

ImpracticalCape · 19/08/2019 13:32

Nurse makes a heap of dodgy claims on that live 'the main thing the deodorant is aluminium free...I'm not making any claims about aluminium and it's link to cancer but I challenge you to google it...'. Yeah. I've googled it. Hell I might have read some peer reviewed studies.... no evidence.

'I've never had complaints that I smell'. 'I've been taking aloe gel for 8 years and only just managed to get used to the taste' Ha! Excellent sales technique.

Claims for aloe gel supporting the respiratory system and IBS

Also very excited about her new found 'tip' of cutting open the tube to get more out of the bottom.....

9dartfinish2nd · 19/08/2019 14:18

It's happening all over the industry, people are trying to ease themselves away from MLM to try and save face by moving into coaching or mentoring.

It's all people who had their 15 minutes of success and had a taste of the good life, now it's all come crashing down and it's damage limitation.

I'm becoming increasingly alarmed at the amount of mid to lower level bots who are falling prey to Life Coaches/Guru's.....etc, having been washed out of thier respective MLM and clearly feeling pretty shit about it, they are now shelling out hundreds and in some cases thousands on the LC's personal development courses.

Effectively it's a scam within a scam, you couldn't make up this shit.

Jigsawpuzzle · 19/08/2019 14:51

Just checked bathroom cupboard. My deodorant is Nivea Pearl & Beauty made in Germany and male deodorant is Sure made in UK, both have aluminium.
Aqua fresh and oral B toothpastes have fluoride, but mouthwash is alcohol free, so do I get brownie points

fromdownwest · 19/08/2019 15:27

Maybe if you were not paying ten times the high street cost for your lotions and potions you would not have to cut the tube in half to scrap out every last penny.

It ironically produced a subtle analogy, where FL is the scissors, and the tubes are the bots, being rinsed for every last drop that they have. One last attempt to take it for all it is, before it is thrown onto the scrap heap, ready for the next victim.

DownThePan · 19/08/2019 15:27

@whiterangey The bots must be aware how badly they are doing. Just look at the hugely reduced or lack of Chairman's Bonus cheques this year. Yawn and many other bots are still displaying cheques from 2016 in their promo guff yet conveniently not mentioning the fact they haven't received a cheque for ages and never will again.

It just baffles me when bots talk about willable income. They're barely making anything and they're probably working harder than ever to try and sign up new recruits in a world where more people are wise to the perils of MLMs.

9dartfinish2nd · 19/08/2019 15:52

All the lies posted over the years have gone too far now and appearances must be maintained. Not looking to sympathise with the senior bots here but it must be emotionally draining to post in such a positive way when the finances are crumbling around them.
I fully expect several of these bots will face financial ruin and the potential fallout that comes with it, Homes reposessed etc.......all beacuse they didn't know when the game was up and it was was time to walk away.

They can't walk away, they are all waiting for another boom which will definitely happen very soon and they will be okay again.

They will lose everything, they earned a lot of money very quickly and then spent it. They made major decisions based on the same amount of money rolling in, buying expensive houses with huge mortgages for example.

A J.O.B won't give them anywhere near the type of income they had during the boom and the income they need to enjoy the lifestyle they briefly had. It's those who put their kids into private schools which I hate, as some have had to take them out again. Homeschool being one of them.

The moment any of them take their foot of the pedal for even a little while their income drops. They have to spend every hour of every day recruiting.

It must be soul destroying, doing the same they did when they were earning lots, yet not getting the same results.

I imagine they walk around with a feeling of dread that they will lose everything.

They will never admit it, tax bill bot still makes out she is rolling in it yet her company is insolvent.

Spongebobette · 19/08/2019 16:35

Forever Living Products (UK) Ltd on Companies House:

sales decreased by 47% in 2017

and by 25% in 2016

any company seeing sales plunge by that much so rapidly should be very worried indeed.

Next accounts due at the end of September.

I wonder what they will show.

DownThePan · 19/08/2019 16:48

I presume many Bots at the top were relying on the bonus cheques to keep the lavish lifestyles going. The question will be how much longer can they live on the monthly commission before they go broke.

Wehttam · 19/08/2019 16:53

Serious question, why do many FL bots look dangerously overweight or as though they don’t see daylight?
