Castle has shared a video from three years ago with her son in it. It was present Friday. Who gives their kid a present every week?! Way to show off that you can afford to spoil your children if you join FL Hmm

Whiterangey · 12/08/2019 19:45

Meanwhile, her actions will have meant that mums can't afford to buy presents for their children on birthdays and Christmas.

Do what you want with your own family but don't rub it in the faces if those who you have taken money from.

ImpracticalCape · 12/08/2019 20:54

Just watched a bunch of old lives on nurses various pages. They are tragic in the extreme. In one she tells us all the reasons why people won't join her business and then says 'if you fail it's down to you not the company'.

The worst is just before Xmas where she declares she is going for manager promotion. She says she is going to go through everyone she's spoken to about the business again and speak to the 'no's' because 'no doesn't really mean no'. She then guilts everyone to buy those awful 'positive packs' for ill patients. Then she states that everyone who joins her team will get a free C9. All of this will be costing her huge amounts of money she clearly doesn't have just to get her CC's up.

What is most depressing is that we know she got nowhere near promotion and she's clearly pissed off every friend and family member who has politely said 'no' given she's still got a team of only 1.

I'm fairly sure she's questioning this crap now. There's only so many times she can 'reinvigorate' her business after a talking to by Yawn. There's only so many times you can say you have a huge order going in or there's loads of people interested in joining your team when and feel good about yourself. I presume that's waived off as the 'law of attraction' though.

Interestingly enough the goal board was in the kitchen back in 2018...

Whiterangey · 12/08/2019 21:30

I think we have gotten to a point with MLM's where they can't work for anyone. Nobody who joins now has a chance of making money. Nobody has risen high enough to actually earn anything in FLP in the past few years, and now in the UK the situation is that very shortly only Uber and Bloodsucker will be walking away in profit at the end of each year.

The 5000cc earners are getting less, and i'm guessing there won't be 4 of them next year. The 2500cc earners have got considerably less and there will be less of them next year. Less people will qualify at 1500cc's. This is being repeated on all MLM's.

I remember reading an article on how a black presenter in Poonique left because she actually wasn't making any money, Those black presenters that are registered on companies house certainly aren't making 6 figure incomes.

Forever living was a nice little earner due to the cheques, you take them away and that is when the financial problems start.

Not to mention the over extending of finances when things were good and to continue to give a sense of doing well to followers.

It will be interesting to see FLP UK's accounts in October.

PlasticBaby · 12/08/2019 21:46

I really think we should stop saying "awww" about Nurse. She's just a bad as the rest, but less successful. Imagine she had the wit to talk a relative of yours into this, would you pity her then?

Whiterangey · 12/08/2019 22:06

It's tough, when do we draw the line between victim and predator?

Nurse doesn't have a lot of money, she is on universal credit to top up her wages. She is spending more money than she can afford each month to stay active in FL. She wouldn't do that if she didn't genuinely believe it will work. I have to give her the benefit of the doubt and I think she is truly believing in all the shit. She is a victim and has been brainwashed.

Luckily she doesn't seem to be affected by the weight shite yet or just can't afford endless C9's.

Where do we draw the line between victim and predator in MLM's?

PlasticBaby · 12/08/2019 22:16

And she could easily pull an extra bank shift. It would fit into her life.

She could fit a shift around these issues. This shift alone, could've paid for the theme park.

Before my medicine days. I was an hca then a nurse. Bank shifts were amazing. Extra pay. That said. I used to.housekeep for Carillion and out earnt the charge nurse at the weekend.

I understand money issues. But she s greedy and lazy

MLMhun · 12/08/2019 22:21

I just watched Nurse’s live from Saturday. Hilarious!

Ladiva1971 · 12/08/2019 22:43

Can I have a £ for every time she says So or makes that clickey noise with her mouth?

Ladiva1971 · 12/08/2019 22:44

and says Ermmm!

PlasticBaby · 12/08/2019 22:55

I think that nurse is thick, lazy and greedy.

She could work a bank shift. She could not recruit people. But that equals greedy

Whiterangey · 13/08/2019 05:18

She''s a single parent who works part time as a nurse. I wouldn't call that lazy. She could not work at all. Like a lot of new mum's she wants to spend as much time as possible with her baby and give him the best life. Not to mention that an extra shift means extra childcare she has to pay for.

She's not making any money out of Forever Living and is losing money. She's been brainwashed to think she can and brainwashing can be done on any intelligence level.

I don't like the word 'thick'. We all have different strengths, everyone is different and while some people are not academically able they shine in other areas.

She has alienated her friends and her family, and all she is trying to do is give her son a better life.

Yawn played on all of this when she recruited her. Of course she will recruit, and try her best to recruit more, she's been brainwashed to think that is how herself, and those she recruits, will find success.

leasedaudi · 13/08/2019 07:50

Apparently PHD has 12 ladies signed up for her scam course. Really!?

SnoogyWoo · 13/08/2019 08:05

Yeah right!

Spongebobette · 13/08/2019 08:21

‘yawn played on all this when she recruited her’

Yes, that’s what’s so insidious about Forever Living; when you join you sit with your upline and they get to to talk about all your hopes and dreams, call it your ‘Why’, and use it to keep you hooked in. Yawn knows that if Nurse starts to waver she just needs to press the ‘Why’ button and Nurse will keep going. Together with the ‘you can only fail if you give up’ ‘ignore the negative naysayers’ type memes which drip drip drip into their timelines

It’s very similar to how cults work; find out your weaknesses and use them to keep you in, take money from you (as donations in a cult but as personal CCs in FL), detach you from friends and family who question the organisation and promise wonderful things ahead if you just keep believing

Plus the shunning (and worse) that happens if you choose to leave

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 13/08/2019 08:33

Kudos to those who manage to watch Nurse's lives.

I tried to watch a recent one but after she went on about how she was still in her PJs with "hair scraped back" (ie. "look at me, I've made no effort whatsoever and think this is such a selling point of my business I'm pointing it out to you") and then treated us to a shot of her wheelie bins out in the rain I decided that I'd rather saw my own leg off with a rusty spoon than watch anymore!

soccerbabe · 13/08/2019 08:42

mothers to young children are a huge target for most MLMs - the weightloss products MLMs preying on postnatal body anxieties, and most MLMs pushing the maternal guilt line with a serving of - earn an income without needing childcare for your child. Similarly parents of children with SN are also targeted - on the basis that magic unicorn MLM dust will cure their child, or because of childcare issues.

Speaking very generally - some single parents have absolutely no unpaid family help or help from their child's father.

Spongebobette · 13/08/2019 09:09

Nurse seems obsessed with mentioning being in her PJs, doing her weekly meeting with her upline in her PJs, please listen to my business presentation in your PJs.....

9dartfinish2nd · 13/08/2019 09:41

Read a pretty shocking comment on MLM Lies Exposed last night claiming that an Executive Vice President at Market America (The firm heavily featured in John Oliver's MLM takedown - We are in a DIMARYP) stated on stage that everyone outside the arena they were in was corrupt and demanded that they get rid of anyone negative in their lives and if need be actually divorce spouses.

These companies don't even hide the fact any more that they are prepared to ruin families in order to keep the money flowing up to the top.

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 13/08/2019 09:43

To me, broadcasting that you're leading training, doing a presentation or whatever in your PJs screams that you don't give a damn, you're not professional . You could also say that about the constant "ooh look I'm drinking wine whilst doing my online training" posts.

(Note - I'm not saying actually wearing them/drinking says that, just when you make a big thing about it and broadcast it to your team , customers or potential victims)

fromdownwest · 13/08/2019 09:52

PHD's course isn't actually a 1-2-1 course? It is a group course for up to 20 people for over £3k!!!

I'd be expecting her to have at least weekly 1-2-1's for that money, but to be fair after one I'd probably give the next one a miss!

Whiterangey · 13/08/2019 10:20

I like a drink, however there are certain things you do without alcohol. If someone was giving me business advice I'd like them to be sober while doing it.

They always have a glass on the go. I'd prefer someone had their full sober attention on me.

Spongebobette · 13/08/2019 12:16

Proper actual professional coaches can charge very large amounts for their services. I know someone who does this in the City and she's sought after and very well paid.
But she has recognised professional qualifications (not like the online tickbox course that Salon got her certificate from!), experience and a record of success with clients.

I don't know who PhD bot thinks she is kidding, pretending to be a coach.

9dartfinish2nd · 13/08/2019 12:24

Has PhD Bot quietly dropped DoTerra then?
