Aah, right yes she would appear under the Spanish FL umbrella which is why I've not seen her pop up very often.

Cheques there though are also dropping I see ...500K to 31K in 3 years is quite a drop!

She used to swan around Lanza wearing clothes she’d customised with the Forever Living logo ...seriously?! At least that way people could easily avoid her I suppose Grin

Twentytwentyhindsight · 02/08/2019 22:45

In my previous life, one of my tasks was to mentor apprentices (and, later on, to assess them for qualification) under both the City & Guilds and NVQ systems.

One apprentice not making the grade (usually because of external personal factors) was a cause for much soul-searching and attempts to address anything I could have done better to help them succeed.

In around 20 years, some 40 youngsters gained their qualifications to a guaranteed skilled wage. Perhaps 5 didn't make the grade.

Consider Yawn's figures- she brags that she has mentored hundreds of people, yet only 9 have even come close to having a chance of a skilled wage. Yet her motto is 'more of the same!'. What a fucking charlatan!

Also, those of my apprentices that didn't make it were at least paid for the duration. Yawn's hundreds were losing money.

BangingOn · 03/08/2019 07:35

My cousin has joined Younique. I sent her a very gentle message with a few links asking her to check them out and she shot me down straight away. Has anyone ever got through to a new recruit or is it always too late by this point?

Jigsawpuzzle · 03/08/2019 08:27

One thing that puzzles me is that the likes of Castle/Yawn/Uber have thousands of followers but only a handful ever like/comment.
Does that mean they either unfollow/ignore or are the numbers BS?

gotmychocolateimgood · 03/08/2019 08:35

There's a fb group for small businesses where you can like each others pages. Thousands of members. Or you can buy 1000 likes for £10 I think.

Jigsawpuzzle · 03/08/2019 09:25

Thanks so BS it is then, no surprises there.

9dartfinish2nd · 03/08/2019 15:13

@BangingOn

Sadly its likely that she has already been subjected to Love Bombing from her upline and all her team. She will be excited at the attention received and the blinkers are already in place.

She will need to figure it out for herself, hopefully sooner rather than later and not before she has damaged any relations with friends or family.

Critical thinking usually goes out window once the "Why" statements and the dream boards take over.

Sorry not to have a more positive response, She could figure it out in weeks or this could last several years Sad

Spongebobette · 03/08/2019 15:57

@BangingOn you’d better mute her as there will e an avalanche of posts; Younique tells them to post several times a day. They can cut and paste from a bank of posts. It’s so obvious that they weren’t written by the actual person. This one popped up from my Younique bot, clearly written for the US market (we don't have 'drug stores'!)

Imagine going into your favourite drug store, walking up to the counter and seeing £293.50 worth of incredible makeup for just £124 😱😱😱

If you're anything like me you would snap it up! Right? Well imagine if they then told you that you would get..

💜 up to 30% off all future purchases
💜 cash in your hands for sharing the products with your friends
💜 free holidays
💜 a car bonus
💜 new friends

Ask yourself this. Could you really say no⁉️⁉️

Spongebobette · 03/08/2019 16:05

By the way... you really CAN say no!

Whiterangey · 03/08/2019 17:33

I agree, No is definitely a word that you can, and should say a lot, especially when dealing with bots.

When dealing with almost all MLM products, you would never ever choose them over any alternatives if you weren't shilling for that company. If I wanted some aloe vera gel i'd go for the cheapest I could find, they all do the same job.

If I want a moisturiser I go for one which suits my skin the most. I've tried lots of different ones at different price ranges and i'm now loyal to the one that suits me the most. I always use a facial moisturiser with SPF in it as well, which is really important.

With anything to do with supplements and aids to help lose weight I am a great believer in throwing that stuff in the bin, setting fire to the bin, and burying the ashes 20 feet deep.

When reviewed independently, Younique consistently comes out as being of low quality but for high end prices. If you paid a fiver for their foundation you'd be happy. If you wanted something decent or high end you'd pay younique prices for something that is actually worth the money. I've never heard one good thing about their eyeshadows, they apparently don't blend, and the pigment is shite. Something a child would have fun with but not for those serious about their makeup.

I know a drag queen who was approached to try Younique makeup. "Fuck Off" was the reply. You'd be hard pressed to find someone as passionate and knowledgeable about makeup than a drag queen.

It's all shite. All of it. Cheap shite that is marked up horrifically to high end prices so that everyone in the reverse funnel system can get a cut.

Except for the MLM I am with, that is the only good MLM obviously.

stayingaliveisawayoflife · 03/08/2019 18:21

Ok is there a new mlm called the fitness momma network? Two of my Facebook friends are splashing it all about!

BangingOn · 03/08/2019 18:29

She’s already muted and I’ve told her I won’t be joining her group. It’s such a shame as she’s an intelligent woman who is usually so savvy.

BangingOn · 03/08/2019 18:31

I am tempted to ask my mother and aunts not to make pity purchases but have decided to stay out of it. I don’t think my mother would spend that much on make up anyway as she rarely wears it.

stayingaliveisawayoflife · 03/08/2019 18:32

These are screen shots from her page with name deleted.

I never mute mlm bots. I enjoy following them BlushGrin

suedoname · 04/08/2019 07:36

@stayingaliveisawayoflife #thefitmummanetwork is juice plus. If she likes to meet people for coffee in Swindon we're watching the same person.

stayingaliveisawayoflife · 04/08/2019 07:56

I think we are then although this person has now recruited a friend of mine who has gone through tough times so I am going to try to dissuade her.

Norma27 · 04/08/2019 08:13

Nurse- I really do believe you when you say the first thing your little boy asks for in the morning is a shot of forever shite.
What a load of absolute bullshit.

suedoname · 04/08/2019 08:18

Well, me and a friend who is ex mlm and very anti mlm live on Swindon's doorstep. We were thinking about going for coffee and watching her.

Unfortunately my friend starts a new J.O.B tomorrow so we've had to forget that.

ImpracticalCape · 04/08/2019 08:26

Nurse doing a live this morning on how she's going to smash her goals to get herself a house in the country.

Jigsawpuzzle · 04/08/2019 08:48

As a Nurse I would have thought she would have some knowledge about the immune system.
If her products last over 6months then she is not perpetuating enough profits. BUY BUY BUY to Infinity and beyond.

MLMsuperfan · 04/08/2019 09:13

Everyone see this?

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/am_i_being_unreasonable/3654880-is-arbonne-a-mlm

Spongebobette · 04/08/2019 10:59

Well. I was one of 4 people watching Nurse's live

It's tragic the way she's been brainwashed into believing that cutting out pictures (eg of a white R Rover) means she'll get them.
She actually said that the reason she's not achieved the things on her goal board yet is because she had it on the wall in her 'office' and wasn't looking at it enough, so she's put it in the kitchen. FFS
She seems convinced that Forever Living will provide her with enough income to:
Give up nursing
Buy a house in the county
Have IVF

And some smaller goals such as a week in Spain and a night at a theme park. Bet she could have afforded the latter if she wasn't spaffing money on FL

She talks a lot about coaching her 'team' - what sort of a downline does she have??

ImpracticalCape · 04/08/2019 12:24

That live was utterly tragic. She's been talking about Cbeebies land for nearly a year now and she's saying 'it's not easy to afford these things'. So we know she hasn't made £200 out of FL as that's how much an overnight stay and tickets would cost.

Also she tells her 'team' to keep a goal board? Who are her 'team'? Has she got one?

It's telling she's keeping her personal page personal 'for friends and family' and FL shite is on the 'vip' page. Someone must have had a word with her as surely bombing sales messages on your personal page is the MO of a bot?

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 04/08/2019 12:27

Surely she must be able to see that it's all bollocks!? That it's never going to happen.

Jeez, if she (and others in her situation) can't see that then there must be some serious brainwashing and mindfuckery going on. Definitely the sort of level that you see in cults and dangerous political groups.
