Its forever living's global rally. Watching the top bots collect greatly reduced cheques.

Remember to always check companies house to check if someone in your upline is really earning what they say.

I started looking at bot pages for the first time this morning.

My my, how many bizniss suksess coaches there are Hmm

As for the claim that CBD OIL is water soluable.... Hmm

Loving the new product bigup I saw on the live feed earlier, too. Green gunk powder to add to your gunk. The most exciting new product eveah!!! Just like all those already on the market, but probably 5x the price.

BSintolerant · 11/05/2019 19:07

What is the reference to Thor’s Hammer?

UnapologeticallyUnhinged · 11/05/2019 19:07

What the hell did I just watch?

Today's stream was one full hour of deafening music and strobe lighting (the irony of 'I don't care' playing lol) at the start followed by four hours of self congratulatory fuckery from an ugly fatty wearing a too-small tuxedo.

The speech where he was going on about the offices they own?! It reminded me of the Ray Kroc quote about McDonalds 'we're in the real estate business, not the hamburger business'. Knob.

Reminder to self - get the office to start a thank you chant to the MD on Monday morning and remember to congratulate him on his new Range Rover whilst I drive home in my 2003 Nissan Micra.

One day, Unhinged, one day....

Teddy1970 · 11/05/2019 19:13

I know we shouldn't talk about personal appearance, but bloody hell, Bloodsucker has whacked on the pounds, actually scrub that, she is the one bot I really really couldn't give a shit about, she's just picked up a massive cheque whist at the same time fleecing those poor people in Africa, vile snake.

UnapologeticallyUnhinged · 11/05/2019 19:21

Also...the top turn was Bjorn Again?!
They played my college graduation party almost 20 years ago!

Norma27 · 11/05/2019 19:25

I think there is a special place in hell reserved for bloodsucker. Not many people whose actual name is so well deserved.

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 11/05/2019 19:27

Lol Unhinged!

They've been knocking about even longer than that - it must have been nearly 30 years ago I saw them in some smallish venue in London (sorry for vagueness but I was about 23 years old and having a great time so the details are a little sketchy Grin )

Orchardgreen · 11/05/2019 19:30

Woohoo, Roomie has blocked me. I pointed out that, in context, “family’s” should have been “families”, and I thought she was an author?

MLMsuperfan · 11/05/2019 19:35

Roomie's now vaguebooking shade. Is that your doing?

Norma27 · 11/05/2019 19:38

Ha ha I wondered that superfan!

Ajgee · 11/05/2019 19:40

Is anyone able to explain where this money comes from?

For example, if Nurse recruited me. I'd buy a £200 C9 typically? Penny by penny, how much does Nurse get? How much do her uplines (Yawn, Bloodsucker?) each get? How much goes into the bonus pool? How much to the company? How much to production costs?

Is there anyone above Bloodsucker? Why aren't all the top earners from the US? Japan was the top country, do they sit under a non-Japanese upline?

So many questions.

GunpowderGelatine · 11/05/2019 19:44

Can I shimmy into this thread please to ask some REALLY dumb questions around MLMs?

I've been quietly obsessed since being invited to a "cocktail party" at a friends house last year and was surprised to find on arrival a woman I'd never met before slapping cleanser on a friend's face and trying to flog green slime for £42 (Tropic) and wondering WTF was going on. It was the first I heard of MLMs. It made sense as to why I was being added to weird groups and I watched that BBC show the other night (and the funny rebuttal video done by the Younique bot since which consisted of "it's so mean people exposed us, we are so lovely chick").

So...

  1. I get that it works in that, if you make a sale, your uplines profit. But really how much do uplines get?!

So for example if a Hun sells a £20 mascara, and she has 10 uplines, surely they can't be making more than 20p each on that sale?

  1. On that documentary it's all about recruiting apparently so you can make money off other people's hard work. But don't the people at the bottom actually need to be making sales in order for recruitment to be effective? Or are the sales coming from the Huns themselves to keep their statuses going?
  1. Am I right in thinking that for every sale a Hun gets virtual "dollars" to spend on products? So for example "Tropic dollars" (I have made the term up but you catch my drift) - meaning that if they have £100 in Tropic dollars, and someone places a £100 order, they can effectively pay with this Tropic Dollars and pocket the customer's cash? Is that right?
  1. Where do they get all their branded memes and graphics from they spam my newsfeed with?! Are they sent these and told to post them? Sometimes several huns working for one company post the exact same thing on their various groups
  1. Aren't the Huns worried that if they recruit a team of 5 - presumably people they know locally - that those 5 will nick customers off them? Why would you want hundreds of guns serving a small population?
OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 11/05/2019 19:46

I was just about to ask if #youknowwhoyouare on Roomie's PA post was Yawn, but is it you OrchardGreen ?

Tut tut! Upsetting the international best selling author like that Grin

Fables103 · 11/05/2019 19:47

I'm sorry but I just don't buy Roomie. I was abused as a child by my mum, and I can say that having read some of her book that it just don't not sit right with me, and I feel a lot of it may be over exaggerated. There is no way she had qualified for the Global Rally, so she has either gone as a plus one or paid for it, but happy to make out it's all free blah blah blah. I'm not buying her ad a victim, and I think if you can stretch the truth with that then you can't be a good person. I appreciate my comments here may not sit well with all of you here, but I just have this niggling feeling she is an attention seeker who will go great lengths to get noticed.

Fables103 · 11/05/2019 19:48

Sorry for my appalling spelling and grammar there, write that in complete frustration and anger without even checking!

Orchardgreen · 11/05/2019 19:48

Gosh, I don’t know. I just posted “it’s families. I thought you were an author?”

jonrotten · 11/05/2019 19:54

Sorry if this is a really dumb question, but why do the big ones have so much debt? Why the directors loans of they are earning off down lines and have had previous big bonuses?

Is it just greed and overspending?

I work for the nhs and I’m fairly broke so I just can’t imagine getting into debt if I was earning good money!

jonrotten · 11/05/2019 19:57

And also - Australia next year? Fuck me. Good luck filling the seats on that one.

CodenameVillanelle · 11/05/2019 19:57

@gunpowdergelatine
The products are irrelevant really. Yes they are expensive because the profit gets passed up the up line but the profit is in recruiting new bots. Each time a bot is added money goes up the upline but also the bots are pressured to keep in the biznizz and spend their own money on products as well as recruit so a successful bot can have a huge number of bots beneath them which becomes self sustaining if you have enough below you.
Of course you can't keep recruiting indefinitely; you run out of victims. So the scam scheme will burn out eventually. That's why bots jump ship quite often and try to get in early in case the new MLM takes off like FLP or poonique.

CodenameVillanelle · 11/05/2019 19:59

and yes, their up lines tell them EXACTLY what to post. Down to the number of posts per day, the style of posting and scripts to send to friends.
Bots don't seem to grasp that if they recruit their friends to sell then the market gets saturated but they are pretty brainwashed by that point.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 11/05/2019 20:00

@Fables103 - My gut feeling is the same as yours about Roomie. The lies trip off her tongue too easily.

We know she paid to go to Stockholm, and she went as a 'plus one' last year.

She has barely done any FLP stuff in the past year, but she's now talking about her 'work trip' and 'free holiday'.

I can't comment on the veracity of her story as put in her book, but I do know she's a liar.

Hasn’t one of Roomie’s family members said it’s all a lie? I believe there’s still a review to that effect on her FB page.

Is Roomie one of Yawn’s downline?

Whiterangey · 11/05/2019 20:32

Law of reaction working again. I said earlier that Yawn usually qualifies for the next global rally in early April. She just posted that she had qualified for next year's this month.

No showing proof like she did last year though.

@rotten - my view is it’s down to no business acumen. They were about for some belter pay days and they assumed that they would continue, plus a sense of entitlement. I’d doubt that there was any pension planning, or investing for the future, it was all spend spend spend. Impress those around you. Now the music has stopped lots of them are totally f*cked
