What transpired between Uber, Nurse and the prospect is pure speculation, but I expect Nurse's uncharacteristic silence is related to that interaction.

There are a few posts from Nurse. She did a live yesterday with some exciting news about the gels which I couldn't be arsed to watch. She's also promoted the greens at a mere £1.25 a single sachet.

Can't see anything since her post on Saturday about going to Australia.

She hasn't got enough downline left to get a head start in Doterra as hardly any will move with her. She is in a foreign country where she has no connections while with a saturated mlm.

She is screwed, she got into FLP at the right time and thinks she can do that again.

Castle and get sibs are having a get together in Wales, I wonder if they are considering their options. What they will be taking about is whether it's possible for her sibs to qualify for a cheque next year so she can get a level 2 cheque. At this point a level 3 is out of her grasp.

They may decide to move to another mlm, they don't have a lot of options really. I think they will lick their wounds then go back full throttle into forever. Castle will be facing significant financial hardship especially if her house doesn't sell soon.

Yawn will stick it out, I think she will struggle to qualify for Australia at 2500cc's but will qualify at 1500. Her house will go on sale at some point.

Uber has enough money to buy herself a level 3 cheque again next year as long as her current cheque holders manage to get the new business. The question is will she be part of the GLT next year?

New business will be a huge problem again, bots are ever dwindling thanks to the anti mlm movement. We get to see the results of that but many women have put in an extraordinary amount of time and effort to get the anti mlm stuff out there and have been doing so for years. For no reward other than to stop people falling victims to mlms. Which is amazing.

We don't know what effect the documentary has had and won't for quite a while. It won't stop most bots botting but will hopefully stop people becoming bots in the first place. As MLM's only work due to new bots joining this will be very interesting.

I think there may be less cheques next year due to the new business needed which could be interesting for uber.

This is going to be a pivitol year for forever in the UK as well as all the other MLM's as the same is happening to all of them.

The problem is the 'emporers new clothes' aspect of all things MLM.

Nobody is allowed to say it's not working, no matter what. It sounds like an utterly vile environment.

Yawn may just about be making a decent amount at the moment, but she will have been dependent on the cheques to maintain her lifestyle and meet her financial commitments (including a £189K director's loan).

She will be working harder for ever diminishing returns. Recruits are harder to find, and drop out quicker. Apart from the commission on the Biznis in a Box, she won't be making much out of them. She was apparently the top 'Business Builder' in the Midlands last month. Sounds good, but doesn't mean much unless she can convert this into sustainable new downlines, which is unlikely.

She put last year's lack of bonus down to taking her foot off the gas- even if she believes that, the excuse doesn't hold for this year's failure to achieve a cheque. to achieve one next year is even more remote (and, even if she does get a sad yoga mat, we know Uber and Bloodsucker will have dipped into it).

I foresee a tough year ahead.

How has PHD managed to get a working Visa for Oz? I have very well qualified professionals friends that jumped through hoops to get one?

I wonder if MLMs could become more ethical and legitimate by capping the size of a team/income.

Then it would be a way to work flexibly without it becoming a pyramid and some successful bots draining the company while lower bots fight for scraps, ultimately leading to its collapse.

Yes you would know you're never going to be a millionaire from it if it was capped, but let's face it less than 1% make that level anyway (even during the 1 or 2 boom years), and I think most people just want a top-up income or at most a replacement wage, as it seem to be the flexibility that's the main selling point.

I can see Yawn's latest post (about planning permission for her house) but nothing before that; has she scrubbed her feed?

I hope her minions are aware that any money she has for house improvements isn't coming from Forever Living but is likely to be from her husband's inheritance.

I'm so glad we have this anonymous outlet for discussing MLMs because it allows absolute freedom of expression about this subject.

A few people have drawn parallels between abusive relationships and the kind of impact / influence / control MLM companies have over their distributors and I think this is absolutely happening.

I've had personal experience with covert abuse and the type of long term effects it can have. Toxic/abusive relationship can create trauma bonds between the victim and the abuser. Trauma bonds result in a kind of addiction to the abuse and the more covert the abuse the more intense this addiction can be. Especially when it is over a long period of time.

It can gradually change a person until they don't actually have their own identity any more, they don't make rational decisions, they give everything to their abuser and they do not look after their own best interests.

I have been observing MLM for over 5 years now and I am seeing way too many signs of this kind of abuse. I am seeing signs of these trauma bonds popping up all over place between some reps and their MLM company.

Sometimes this addiction to abuse manifests itself in a general addiction to network marketing. Sometimes reps will fall into an abusive relationship with one particular MLM company over a very long period of time.

These MLM companies are emotionally destroying some of their victims with possibly permanent psychological damage.

It is extremely hard to come back from covert emotional abuse and in my view these MLM companies are directly comparable to abusers.

I think this topic needs to be explored because it's so concerning.

The Tatch serves many purposes, both as an attraction marketing tool and as an excuse for not getting a cheque because of working on it, rather than the biznis.

Someone may have reported them for that shed/office/sleepover room they built. You are not allowed to build a separate dwelling on your land and she was making out that it could be used for that on her open Facebook.

May be why she shut her Facebook and had chosen to post that one post as public to show whoever reported her that she gets to keep it.

That would expose the scam within weeks, People quickly realise there is no demand for these overpriced products and therefore no money to be made from retailing. unless you can build a downline into the hundreds/thousands you don't stand a chance of ever making a living in MLM's

Before you know it friends, family and even spouses are pushed aside and they are isolated from the people that care about them most.

In the same way as cults abuse their members.

The similarities have been discussed at length on here.

Draw them in by finding out their vulnerability (their 'why') and work on it, isolate them from their support network ('negative influences'), continue to programme them through ceremonies (rallies, etc.), mantras ('gratitudes', etc.) and rituals that there is nothing outside the relationship that can provide them with what they need.

Bingo, you have a pliable victim that has lost their identity and whose perception of their own interests has been subsumed into those of the abuser/group. Ripe for continued exploitation without a peep of a question or doubt.
