Its forever living's global rally. Watching the top bots collect greatly reduced cheques.

Remember to always check companies house to check if someone in your upline is really earning what they say.

So I found this and the previous thread last night and have spent all day reading them and digging around google and various fb pages, videos and comments (over-invested much!) to work out who everyone is. Think I'm just about there. A really good friend of mine is just back from Stockholm. She has been involved for well over a decade and I thought was doing really well, as she went to Cancun, but judging from what I've learnt here maybe not so much. Don't know exactly who her upline are but I know one of them was a 2.5k qualifier (101k cheque 3 years ago - 12.5k cheque this year) she is also in the team with random man that got diamond manager and I also think my friends upline is either downline of, or friends with, token manbot. It's all fascinating!
I must add though she has never tried to recruit me or hard sell. She doesn't even seem to buy that much herself but she does go to lots of training. She is one of the friendliest people I know so that obviously helps - I have a definite resting bitch face so would be hopeless ... maybe that's why I've never been recruited

It's amazing what you can achieve when there's housework to avoid.
It's so obvious these are pyramid schemes I'm astounded some people fall for it. Hopefully the documentary the other day will have helped. I'm not totally innocent though, I have been to a few 'parties' and have always felt obliged to make a pity purchase. On one occasion though I had an 'escape plan' my DH phoned after about an hour with a screaming 2wo dd on the end of the line so I was able to make my excuses and leave - just as the presentation ended

Welcome sayhello. I admit to hosting a couple of body shop parties in the past but they always made me uncomfortable. When I found this thread I realised why.

I am going to bet, that the requirements to qualify for flights for the rally next year will be reduced drastically, seeing as it was announced in Stockholm, they were planning to break the world record for the most people on the harbour bridge.

Roomie is so predictable - you watch that rant post disappear as soon as she remembers that bots aren't allowed any negativity on their page.

I've been following her for ages (we have mutual friends) so these rants about the ex-wife pop up periodically, and always with the long story about abandoning her DC, calling her an alcoholic etc

I don't know how I feel about Roomie. She was a nurse (psych?) so obviously has levels of critical thinking.
Yet she's worked at building a team, despite seeing first hand last year how her mentor got shit all in the cheque department.
She seems to thrive on drama.

Gotmychocolate I don't know if she has or not - she never talks about her business irl. I just always assumed from her fb posts that she was one of the few making money as she's been there so long and it's her only source of income. Having read this thread and getting more of an understanding of how it all works I now see that she is simply providing income for her upline who occasionally posts a soppy pic of them both with inspirational words of encouragement. Whose bonus, however, has reduced tenfold in 3 years so I do wonder what will happen to her in the year ahead and beyond. Her latest fb post on return seemed slightly more desperate about her hopes for future success
