Its forever living's global rally. Watching the top bots collect greatly reduced cheques.

Remember to always check companies house to check if someone in your upline is really earning what they say.

I want to see Yawn join the Messiah, what a glorious pairing that would be Grin

Twentytwentyhindsight · 13/05/2019 08:52

Some of the titles may appeal!

Spongebobette · 13/05/2019 09:13

Don’t you have to buy plane tickets for your children, even if you’ve qualified?

Twentytwentyhindsight · 13/05/2019 09:24

Just checked Sponge, it's only fights for two, whatever level you qualify at for CB or GR.

MLMsuperfan · 13/05/2019 09:29

How much are flights from the UK to Australia?

willdoitinaminute · 13/05/2019 09:41

Maybe Yawn had a supersonic meltdown after bonus cheque giving. Maybe one of the bots in Uber’s downtime actually read the new t&ts and word spread. Maybe Mr Yawn has a few more brain cells than Yawn and the penny having dropped has put his foot down.

leasedaudi · 13/05/2019 09:44

@MLMsuperfan about £800 pp at the cheapest time of year. April is generally cheaper, lucky for the bots.

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 13/05/2019 09:45

I have no idea what Yawn would do if she didn't do this. She's the first to admit she has nothing in the way of qualifications and she has very limited experience of anything else. I know that Mr Yawn has had a J.O.B. on the side but I doubt that's been full-time.

CanoeDoYouThinkYouAre · 13/05/2019 09:45

Even the Australia based bots may struggle to afford the travel. If you're in WA and the rally is Melbourne (for example) that's still a fair journey.

Especially for people earning 20p a day spamming Facebook.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 13/05/2019 09:49

Yawn will know about the bonus grab from reading this thread . She wouldn't have got a cheque anyway, but I wonder if she would pass this on to the other bots who lost out - you know, solidarity among the boss babe family and all that... ?

gotmychocolateimgood · 13/05/2019 09:51

Yawn used to be a childminder didn't she? Like any of us would trust her with our children! Thanks @Jasmin82. An ex colleague of mine joined younique in November. She's had a few orders and worships her up line. Haven't seen her attending any events yet. Hoping she gets out soon.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 13/05/2019 09:58

@dickiedavisthunderthighs - according to her LinkedIn profile, she was a communications operator for West Mercia Constabulary, "providing first class technical support to officers on the ground, often in times of fast paced stress and action".

I would say that there are transferable skills there, but wonder why she insists on describing herself as a former childminder when roping prospects into her biznis?

Twentytwentyhindsight · 13/05/2019 10:04

@CanoeDoYouThinkYouAre - when the Global Rally was held in the UK, my OH would have crossed the desert barefoot to get there (and paid for the tickets).

Fortunately is was held on our doorstep and was thus one of the cheaper eeekfests she attended.

I have visions of a bedraggled caravan of WA bots trudging past Uluru on their way to Sidney...

CanoeDoYouThinkYouAre · 13/05/2019 10:39

Or hitchhiking twenty. Holding signs saying "Will swap aloe shite for a lift".

Twentytwentyhindsight · 13/05/2019 10:45

Or this one of the self-funded UK bots on their way:

EL2019 · 13/05/2019 10:52

It’s to rope people into signing up by saying that anyone can do this and you don’t need special skills or previous business experience to do it.

EL2019 · 13/05/2019 10:55

Thinking about it it’s really cynical aimed at exploiting people with low self-confidence, who couldn’t relate to someone who had a high profile communications job for the police, but could relate to someone who used to be a childminder and start to think, if she could do it, then maybe I can too.

I wonder if her up line told her to downplay her previous experience. Do others do that?

Spongebobette · 13/05/2019 10:56

'After an amazing free 5* holiday, all paid for by the incredibly generous company I work alongside, I decided to take a break from social media to spend precious time with my children as they are doing exams. I am so blessed to be able to choose to put my family first and work flexibly!'

MLMsuperfan · 13/05/2019 11:01

You see this with the bots. They'll post their MLM origin story which is like "When I first heard about this opportunity I though it wasn't for me, because I had no business experience or confidence and thought I'd be terrible at sales and I didn't know anyone to network with, but I paid my £200 and now x years later I've got tons of money and stuff".

It's all about providing a relatable role model and overcoming objections by example. Most of the actually successful bots are university educated but they hint otherwise.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 13/05/2019 11:04

@EL2019 - Exactly. A former bot on this thread told us they had attended one of her 'trainings', in which she said that that was why she described herself as a childminder.

EL2019 · 13/05/2019 11:06

Yuck 🤢
How cynical.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 13/05/2019 11:08

This is why I have negative sympathy for any of the senior bots' whose houses of cards are coming tumbling down.

SnoogyWoo · 13/05/2019 11:15

Yawn must of had a meltdown with social media down so long. They are told that once you have put the hard work in for a few years you will have ever lasting income that you can give to your children. Yawn has been doing it for 10 years now and is on her arse. Hard to keep going facing that.

Twentytwentyhindsight · 13/05/2019 11:32

I am impatient to see Insolvency bot's liquidator give us an update confirming that the equivalent of $19K has been paid towards her company's tax bill, on top of the agreed £500 a month.

So true 😂 it's not worth going to Aus unless you go for at least 3 weeks
