Its forever living's global rally. Watching the top bots collect greatly reduced cheques.

Remember to always check companies house to check if someone in your upline is really earning what they say.

I am in bloody Worcester and they used to be everywhere around 2015-7 era.
Fortunately it has died a death now and you don't see it popping up anywhere
And yes have bumped into Yawn - unfortunately we both frequent Yo Sushi on cheap Monday nights but she won't have a clue who I am but obviously she is so recognisable.

Norma27 · 12/05/2019 20:08

Uber lived in Worcester when she started with forever shite too.

Mielabel · 12/05/2019 20:26

Funny, I'm also in Worcester. This is how I got into FLP. I see Yawn often.

I'm originally from another area of the country. It wasn't my choice to move and at first I hated it. To an outsider, it is very materialistic here, more than most places I've known, a bit how I imagine Essex to be. I'm surprised at how people are so desperate to show their designer labels, have flashy cars etc. and make it look like they have money. I really didn't fit it at all at first because I came from somewhere that was the opposite culture- the flashiness would have been tacky. In Worcester people just assumed I was poor and not worth knowing until I started to change my style by osmosis. It was a big culture shock.

I actually really, really like it here now and think it's a lovely place in many aspects, but the culture is well suited to MLMs. It's super conservative and judgemental compared to many places, being a yummy mummy with a rich hubby is a sign of status (but confusingly, so is having a successful career and family) and looking rich and polished with a circle of similar friends is key. Status, career, appearances are everything. So a stay-at-home international business is ideal for young mothers here who want to impress.

Where I grew up, MLM hasn't took off at all, and when I was poaching my old school friends for FLP none of them could see any benefit and would rather just do normal work. I don't know a single bot from my old county. So there's definitely something in it.

Galadali · 12/05/2019 20:36

Another adopted Worcester girl here and honestly, I don't recognise the place you're all talking about. I'm originally from Brum and Worcs has always seemed unpretentious and laid back to me. I've certainly never had conversations with a single person about financial status (other than mlm reps!) There are a couple of Yawn"s downline at my kids" school gate, but they seem fairly low key (ergo doomed to fail).

worcestersauce29 · 12/05/2019 21:30

I'm Worcester born and bred. I've never seen nor been part of any 'I've got more than you' culture.

I was, in hind sight targeted by FL bot (and then her mother)a few years ago. Thankfully I ignored.

I hate MLM with a passion, I could have been one of the bots and that really bothers me x

willdoitinaminute · 12/05/2019 22:07

Another adopted Worcestershire woman here. Unfortunately I have seen the darker side of Worcester materialism. It is not just the bots and shills who practice faking it till you make it.

worcestersauce29 · 12/05/2019 22:12

@willdoitinaminute where have you see this ?

SnoogyWoo · 12/05/2019 22:30

Yawn is still on private mode.

Magstermay · 12/05/2019 22:32

Totally not the point of this thread but I’m also from Worcester and failing to see the materialistic-ness of it! Moving here was a relief from the SE as I felt I didn’t need to ‘try’ to keep up with everyone. Much more normal here!

Ladiva1971 · 12/05/2019 22:42

Without social media bots cannot recruit or do business , that is their main tool, their profiles will be open again within 24 hours.

Ladiva1971 · 12/05/2019 22:44

forgot to add, that they cannot not live without insta/twitter as their whole life is based around social media

BSintolerant · 13/05/2019 00:43

I think she’s hiding to avoid questions about cheques.

Whiterangey · 13/05/2019 00:55

It's brilliant, yawn going private is the icing on the cake of a really which showed how bad things are getting.

No public Facebook will significantly harm her business. People wont find her and they won't be able to see her history and buying her posh house and stuff. Hopefully she keeps it private.

It just keeps getting better and better.

The social groups that the more successful Worcester bots move in are incredibly materialistic. Particularly the Wonderful bunch. The practice of renting a luxury home and passing it off as your own is not exclusive to bots.
I have to agree that Worcester is a lovely city and it really isn’t infested with bots but I just happen to be acquainted with some of the bigger bots’ social circle and there are some horrors.

Spongebobette · 13/05/2019 03:59

I think it’s perfectly possible to live in the same town as someone and get a different impression from someone else

gotmychocolateimgood · 13/05/2019 04:06

Does anyone know what the minimum order amount per month is to stay active in poonique?

Jasmin82 · 13/05/2019 04:17

@gotmychocolateimgood It's not a monthly minimum. They require presenters to spend/have orders amounting to a minimum of $125 over a rolling 3 month period. It's complicated as, when I was looking at leaving, my first plan was: I'd placed an order in September so, if I didn't order in October and November and had no sales, by the end of December I should be falling foul of the $125 rolling 3 month rule. When I checked at the start of December, they'd lumped my order and the $125 to reactivate (biggest error I ever made) together so I'd have had to wait until the end of January. That was how I found out about just how hard they make leaving by contacting them.

SnoogyWoo · 13/05/2019 05:31

Do you think Yawn had started to get hassle from the no cheque situation and then she went private?

Norma27 · 13/05/2019 05:57

It will be interesting to see how long yawn stays private. I think it is to avoid questions about her cheque as stated above.

MLMsuperfan · 13/05/2019 06:22

An optimist might suggest that in real business it is common for people to hand in their notice after they get their annual bonus.

Maybe she can't stomach another year in a role with inexorably declining earning power.

Maybe.

BSintolerant · 13/05/2019 06:33

Maybe, but I suspect she’ll be botted right up to the bitter end.

Whiterangey · 13/05/2019 07:21

What else is she going to do? She has been botting for 10 years. Her only other option is to move MLM's. All mlm's are now post boom and declining. She could take her downline with her but some of them won't want to go, most of them probably.

PHD has moved mlms and that doesn't appear to be going well. I haven't seen any of her forever downline moving over with her.

She will probably qualify for the Australia trip, even if it is at a lower level. I think Yawn will be botting for a while yet, at least until she loses everything.

I can see castle and sibs moving on. Her sibs aren't making money. Her sisters accounts show that, after you deduct expenses from her accounts there can't be anything left.

Unfortunately they are still all recruiting, although as flp UK accounts show new FBO's have declined rapidly and continue to do so. It's a no win situation with zero hope of achieving anywhere near the success of 2015/16. I imagine they are all working on the law of attraction though in the hope it does.

OP posts:
notfromworcester · 13/05/2019 07:24

Well the trip to Australia wouldn't be an incentive to stay. Genuinely.

Two hideously long flights to sit there spitting and miserable with jet lag while others receive ever-decreasing cheques? No thanks.

Whiterangey · 13/05/2019 08:03

They also won't have their usual cheering crowd. Nobody will be able to pay for their own flights. Australia is an expensive place, accommodation will be expensive as well.

It's not like Stockholm where boys bought their own tickets and arrived in the Thursday and went back yesterday. You don't spend a whole day on planes just for 3 days. Whatever its held in Australia I hope they are planning a small stadium as there won't be many there from any country.

OP posts:
Twentytwentyhindsight · 13/05/2019 08:45

If Australia is a growing market for FLP, what they'll do is pack out the arena with local bots.

When the Global Rally was held in London, all UK bots were on a three line whip to buy tickets to attend.

Distances in Australia are on a different scale to those in the UK, but don't underestimate the power of bottedness.
