Another month done folks Grin a quarter of the way through the year.

I thought we could try something different this time, the original list looks a little redundant. So I thought we could all post our top five earners from the last few months.

For me, in no particular order:

  1. Leapforce.
  2. Crisp Thinking
  3. Angelfish
  4. Quidco
  5. MobileXpression (bloody love this passive one!)

What're yours?

What is this thread all about? Would anyone care to enlighten me?

Slippiepippie · 15/04/2019 22:27

Ohmydosh offers dont seem to work for ireland

Anyone got a site that is ok for ireland??

justtheonethen · 15/04/2019 22:44

@Fizzyboo the repetition is killer. How are you supposed to remember what you have said before?

justtheonethen · 16/04/2019 06:48

Can someone help with how to submit an invoice on appen global?

Frenchdoors1 · 16/04/2019 11:47

Is Prolific Academic very time consuming? I've read a little about it and I'm aware they need precise answers etc or your posts etc may be rejected.

Fizbo · 16/04/2019 13:22

@justtheonethen what project are you working on? I'm doing Truckee which is very easy to invoice just need to make sure the time is converted to Pacific so 8 hours behind us.

BoltMosaic · 16/04/2019 14:50

No, most of them only take 5-10 mins @Frenchdoors1

They give you an estimated time for each study and what the payment will be before you begin

justtheonethen · 16/04/2019 15:54

@Fizbo it's for a crowd survey I did on the global page. They have given me an invoicing tile but I can't work out what to do with it!

Just got an email to say I can do the exam for Yukon. I'm scared I'm going to fail it. Is it horrific?

1disneyfanatic · 16/04/2019 17:00

Can anyone help me with crisp? I have passed all the tests and been accepted. I’ve logged in to do work for the first time and have done an hour. I know I was slow but it got easier after the first 20 or so.

What I’m confused with is payment. Which system to I put payment details into? How do I record my work or do they just know what I’ve done? I don’t have my klip login yet.

I’ve looked at Humanity but can’t find anywhere to put paynent details. Appen is so much more straightforward- I’m so confused. Help!

reddA · 16/04/2019 17:10

@1disneyfanatic when you get the Klip login you'll be able to see the dashboard that shows what you are earning, you should get it in a few days time, to get paid you have to invoice them once you have received your statement (up to 10 days after the end of the month) I've only been through it once as I'm still new too but it was pretty straightforward.

Just plod on in the meantime, all of your work will be recorded, you don't need to do anything :)

CallMeRachel · 16/04/2019 17:19

I'm still waiting on Crisp too

Frenchdoors1 · 16/04/2019 17:29

Thanks @ BoltMosaic

I too am scared if I can't do any of them, Confused are they really hard?

1disneyfanatic · 16/04/2019 21:41

Thanks @reddA. I was worried I was missing something. I’ll just keep working away at it. Hopefully I’ll speed up as I must have made about £2.50 an hour today. Still it will £2.50 I didn’t have before.

WheresTheCoffee · 17/04/2019 07:10

Thanks for the link Octopus37 Flowers

Bbub · 17/04/2019 08:38

To the poster who asked when I applied for Crisp.. it was some time ago, when it was first mentioned...maybe February. I am only just doing the trial process as i had technical issues for ages...

I have just applied my first £20 amazon gc (from mobile expression) to my account and its worked, I'm so chuffed!

margaritasbythesea · 17/04/2019 09:46

Di anyone persist with Utest? I didn't but they keep sending me emails. Just curious!

reddA · 17/04/2019 10:13

@margaritasbythesea I've been too much of a wuss to do a real one although I'm doing another paid task with them today with a 10 year old (when he gets out of bed). It's not a bug test though. I just worry that I'll spend hours looking for a bug, not find one and not earn anything!

@Frenchdoors1 Prolific surveys are fine, some can be very odd but you can't really get wrong answers, most are looking at individuals perceptions and the psychology behind things, honestly, they can be quite fun and a change from 'are you responsible for your household grocery shopping' etc. Hmm

crazygirluk · 17/04/2019 10:37

Payment from Crisp just hit my bank a couple of minutes ago!

Frenchdoors1 · 17/04/2019 10:37

reddA
Thanks for your good advice.
I've just this minute completed a survey from Prolific. Very happy. Yes they are different like you say from the other sites that mention shopping all the time Grin

margaritasbythesea · 17/04/2019 10:38

Thanks reddA. I'd be really curious to know about it. Have the other things you've done been OK?

lazymumsmh · 17/04/2019 10:51

Has anyone else seen this?

www.rev.com/freelancers/transcription?fbaid=6119431592389&fbclid=IwAR1YxtNHEJn4l90n-d5P1eyLfDEhCxEmyS-8tdF1_8faQ7irLKWKdKTzAXM

I just applied. It looks like basic transcribing, which is what I do at work anyway. There is a short test which seemed easy.

reddA · 17/04/2019 12:55

@margaritasbythesea just completed a task for them, it was just letting my child use a website on my phone I had to ask him to find things on the website whilst I filled out a survey on how easy he could navigate and his feedback etc. it was really easy, he enjoyed it and it paid $30 (I did pay him) I will have a go at other ones too I think, although I can't do Charles as I never managed to get my phone connected to my laptop when I was in the Academy so I need to avoid those ones.

mydogisthebest · 17/04/2019 17:00

I think appen must be having trouble getting anyone to complete that task with 800 odd phrases. They keep emailing me reminding me to complete it and I have just had an email saying they have extended the time to complete it and upped the payment!

I have replied saying it is too time consuming and difficult to type so many phrases on a phone - it should be done on a laptop. Wonder if they will reply?

WhoChecksTheCheckers · 17/04/2019 17:12

Does anyone else get unmatched for literally every survey from inbox pounds? I get about three questions in then I’m redirected back saying sorry you don’t qualify. I’ve got £4 in my account and I’m never going to make it to £20 at this rate!

reddA · 17/04/2019 17:16

Appen don't reply to anything, still not heard back about Thunderbird or any of the projects I applied for - still get emails about the phrases though Hmm
