MLM Bot Watch 42

Spongebobette · 18/08/2018 12:09

This is the 42nd thread in a long series about the dangers of network marketing/ MLMs such as Forever Living, Ariix, NuSkin, Arbonne, Younique, TS Life, and MANY MANY more!
Posts here will give examples of the lies told by 'top bots' who portray luxury lifestyles in order to lure in new victims and of the other techniques and brainwashing used by MLMs
Over 90% of people who join an MLM end up LOSING money. Always bear that in mind when considering paying money to join!

Anyone else know East Anglian Sailing Valentus bot?

She's definitely a great watch. I've tried to watch her lives but they never make sense and lack substance. I think she might be quite high up in Valentus.

JasperRising · 21/09/2018 22:11

I have seen the whole FL businesses are willable thing pick up again - with the implication that this is somehow special or unusual. But we have established haven't we that it is not willable in the sense that your children get an income with no input? Rather they can take your position in the business and pick it your work? So, how is that different from literally any family business that has been passed from parent to child (ok so the passing on may have been sorted earlier rather being in a will but still)? It's not exactly being a business mogul passing on a trust fund so the grandchildren can swan around as socialites which would be willable income (except i imagine they would have tax advisors keeping it out of wills).

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 21/09/2018 22:46

Has anyone ever seen a real business ever post about trolls, keyboard warriors or jealous haters?

No, nor me.

Ladiva1971 · 21/09/2018 23:11

Has anyone ever seen a real business ever post about trolls, keyboard warriors or jealous haters? I thought about this for at least 3 mins and...……….No.

Happypuppy · 21/09/2018 23:27

Or laughing “historically” ?

Whiterangey · 21/09/2018 23:34

I've been laughing historically.

I was laughing because everyone is dying from the plague yet I am fine because i've been shoving aloe up my arse.

Spongebobette · 21/09/2018 23:34

It worries me that bots like Yawn etc are still managing to hook in new recruits. Perhaps the anti MLM message isn’t getting through to enough people...

I think the new car, coffee shop lifestyle gives a veneer of respectability. A thin one, mind. One where you don't really look at the surface, never mind scratch it.

They love to have just fits about the haters don't they. I'm assuming a hater is anyone who politely says they don't want to buy any aloe shite.

user1484830599 · 22/09/2018 08:49

Just fits? I mean hissy fits!

And what is up with yawns eyebrows?

Paddy1234 · 22/09/2018 09:14

I think recruitment is harder but not impossible. However being able to sell the product is another matter. The Worcestershire heartland where a lot of these bots are located was completely and utterly saturated with all FL product two/three years ago. You literally can't give it away now and so when people are recruited they have no chance at all any business as we all have been tapped up so many times over past few years. From what i saw, people tried to give the product a go - far longer that they really ought to have done, they/we wanted it to work. But it didn't. So you regularly hear now 'keep that forever shit away from me'.

user1484830599 · 22/09/2018 09:24

I wonder if thats now why so many of their posts are about joining their business for coaching and mentoring, rather than to peddle their aloe shite

Paddy1234 · 22/09/2018 09:34

I think the difference between yawn and her bff is the different marketing techniques. From what I hear Yawn is trying the big sell wherever she goes, however I have met bff (schools play each other at rugby) and she is actually very unassuming and nice.
However the facts are that everyone used the products three years ago and now no one does so both need to be looking at jobs pdq.

user1484830599 · 22/09/2018 09:44

I can't think who her BFF is @Paddy1234

user1484830599 · 22/09/2018 09:45

God, does slimline wine really need two videos?

Spongebobette · 22/09/2018 09:48

But these newest recruits, as showcased by Yawn for example, have parted with 200 quid and have clearly stocked up with products too, so money is still coming in to the pyramid. Depressing.

Another weekend, another (self-funded) road trip across the country to HQ for Roomie and her team .

And they sell this as a family friendly business Hmm.

Happypuppy · 22/09/2018 09:58

😂 at my historically auto correct. Those who know, know.

Yy to the new recruit bots, their posts are tumbleweed bar fellow bots.

Paddy1234 · 22/09/2018 10:30

Spongebobette Absolutely and what is worse is that, as they have saturated the market in the past the only recruits now are the very most vulnerable who have a low social media presence so have no hope of selling the product. I just wish it would all go away now and not be looking at the prolonged death as we are now.
The absolute nail in the coffin for me is hawking a product 'Aloe Peaches' at such a huge profit margin.

user1484830599 · 22/09/2018 10:30

Gosh, Roomie has made a miraculous recovery from her near death hospital stay then.

notsurewhatshappening · 22/09/2018 11:21

I know who Yawn is but I can't follow her on facebook- she won't add me to her amazing group. How do you see what she's doing?

BSintolerant · 22/09/2018 12:18

Laughing historically! 😂 Do you have to go back in time to do that?

I'm sure many victims of MLM schemes would love to revisit the past to alter the time when they signed on the botted line ... I just hope they don't get frozen in time at a so-called business meeting or an alleged success day.

Tw1nsetAndPearls · 22/09/2018 12:18

I can just see her profile as public. I might not see everything but there is quite a lot!

BangingOn · 22/09/2018 15:29

Yawn blocked a lot of people who liked Timeless Vie and other anti MLM pages a while ago.

Paddy1234 · 22/09/2018 16:39

We should see Mr BP get sacked as soon as results come out soon. His figures over the last two years will be dire and any other MD delivering that set would have been long gone.

Teddy1970 · 22/09/2018 18:12

Yawn is recruiting the same kind of woman..I don't mean to sound horrible but none of them look like they can afford to lose £200 on that bloody box. Yawn is utterly vile for preying on these women...
