MLM Bot Watch 42

Spongebobette · 18/08/2018 12:09

This is the 42nd thread in a long series about the dangers of network marketing/ MLMs such as Forever Living, Ariix, NuSkin, Arbonne, Younique, TS Life, and MANY MANY more!
Posts here will give examples of the lies told by 'top bots' who portray luxury lifestyles in order to lure in new victims and of the other techniques and brainwashing used by MLMs
Over 90% of people who join an MLM end up LOSING money. Always bear that in mind when considering paying money to join!

This is very interesting: a former Valentus top leader has set up their own weight loss coffee MLM, with a comp plan replicating the Valentus one. See what Behind MLM has to say about it all:

behindmlm.com/mlm-reviews/cellis-review-valentus-healthy-coffee-spinoff/

Spoiler: they says it’s a straight-up autoship pyramid scheme.

Bovneydazzlers · 08/09/2018 09:16

FL Ireland (which also covers NOrthern Ireland) accounts are online for 2017. As suspected, they are in tough times.

Drop in turnover by one third since 2016, a loss for the year, and redundancies made.

I’m guessing we’ll be seeing a similar picture for UK too.

Bovneydazzlers · 08/09/2018 09:18

Turnover:
2015: £12.3m
2016: £9.8m
2017: £6.4m

Says it all

PerryPerryThePlatypus · 08/09/2018 10:37

Just saw a video of someone tasting Total Shite Life products. Must Pretend it doesn't taste like ditchwater written all over their face.

Spongebobette · 08/09/2018 11:26

There are claims from TS life bots that they've lost 5lb in 3 days
WHAT?????!!!!!!

OP posts:
Paddy1234 · 08/09/2018 11:27

Those figures don't surprise me at all. I expect the UK to be even worse in terms of % decrease of turnover. I know a lot of UK bots spent a not inconsiderate time over in Ireland last year and early this year but the rot could not be stopped.
Does anyone know of another FL country which had reached saturation point before the UK and what has since come of it?

StrongTeaDropOfMilkNoSugar · 08/09/2018 11:45

Looks like there is some big Arbonne shindig this weekend. The bot I know has posted loads of Facebook lives of the crowd being whipped into a frenzy of excitement last night. Bet they all stumped up a fortune of their own cash to travel there, pay for hotels etc as well as tickets to the event itself, and were told it was an investment in their business. Makes me so angry Angry

ArbunneHun · 08/09/2018 12:11

Just watched some clips of the Arbonne conference (follow #UKAAC2018). Dancing, clapping, whooping, sobbing... it’s all designed to get people worked up into a state of emotional hysteria.

Also, it would seem that the MLM-industry anthem of the year is This Is Me from The Greatest Showman. Performances of it have cropped up and at least 3 rallies, including FLP. Poor Hugh Jackman must be wincing.

Whiterangey · 08/09/2018 12:54

Almost all bots at one time or another have used This is Me to show people how they struggle blah blah blah.

I have always taken it to be a song about being in a minority, like being gay or trans, or in the case of the greatest showman, looking much different to everyone else. Not a song about your struggle against the negferrets who call your bizniz a scam.

They obviously think they are a minority, i'm surprised they haven't started saying we are MLMist of MLMphobic or something equally ridiculous. The only struggles they have is trying to get more team members.

fitgirl26 · 08/09/2018 13:28

I lost 5lb in 3 days once. I had Campylobacter food poisoning. Maybe that's the secret ingredient in the mint choc?

Whiterangey · 08/09/2018 15:01

They probably cost so much that the bots are using their food money buying them and can't afford food. That is likely true for some of them, having been promised wealth they are spending every penny they can lay their hands on to buy the stupid products.

willdoitinaminute · 08/09/2018 16:36

Anyone else notice post by Roomie saying that her team is nearly in double figures?
Also my forensic vision noticed that the foot prints on Yawns deep pile carpet in the before and after photos suggest she hasn’t hoovered in 24 days. And there was me thinking she was so house proud.

leasedaudi · 08/09/2018 18:26

@willdoitinaminute yes I noticed the scuff marks, and on yawns right ankle (left side on the pics), her tights are slightly higher on the inside than the outside. So I am pretty sure the pics were taken the same day!

Bovneydazzlers · 08/09/2018 20:23

I find it sad Roomie and her teamies are paying for themselves to go to Stockholm. They will blow so much on food and drink over there. And presume they have to pay Forever to attend the rally too. Utter craziness.

Whiterangey · 08/09/2018 20:36

That is insane.

Am I the only one who when I see Stockholm related to Forever I immediately think Stockholm Syndrome?

I wouldn't say no to visiting Stockholm, but it would be for a lovely little sightseeing trip, not a cult meeting full of stupid shit.

I did promise myself i'd block Yawn but I just can't, the meal she shows with the eggs on bread or whatever with the avocado on it is ridiculously high in calories. Okay for a main meal, but if she is eating something like that for lunch and then has a proper meal in the evening, that would explain why when she isn't on the stupid Forever calorie controlled shit she gains the weight straight back. It doesn't teach you how to properly lose weight, bit by bit over a long period of time.

I hope she doesn't get another dog, she has too many, they are living breathing animals, not collectors items.

Spongebobette · 08/09/2018 21:43

Uber has posted what she calls a 'thinspiration' (YUK!!) post from 2011 with pics of her, Yawn and others looking thinner than now.
Completely missing the irony; they've all been doing C9s several times a year for years and where has it got them???

OP posts:
Whiterangey · 08/09/2018 22:39

That's a great point. 7 years of using Forever Living's fantastic weight loss products and they are all fatter than they were. In 2011 Yawn had lost a lot of weight.

If you put Yawn's name and then 'weight loss' into facebook search you will find photos of her huge weight loss from that time period. You may have to scroll quite a bit, but there are photos out there showing the extreme amount of weight she has lost.

Not sure if you can do this on a mobile, but on a pc if you put Yawn and weight loss into the search bar and then search for posts by Yawn, you will see post after post over the last 7 years of her going on C9 and FIT 15 time and again. Lot's and lots of proclamations about how this is the year she gets thin and how she has set her self a time limit of 6 months or 4 months or whatever to do so.

Yet here we are, 7 years later and she is still setting goals and doing stupid forever weight loss stuff.

Willowsauntie · 08/09/2018 22:43

I'm confused... I've just watched one Total Shite bot drink D-Lite for lunch as it will help her gain weight, and another drink it for breakfast as it will help her lose weight.

Does D-Lite shake come with a teeny tiny alarm clock to repurpose itself throughout the day?

SSDGM · 09/09/2018 01:10

So straight off Cellis is illegal to join in the UK (like the Valentus “ruby” entry level was) as it costs around £400. Double the legally allowed spend to join an MLM in the UK.

BSintolerant · 09/09/2018 01:32

Yawn's alleged before and after photos are indeed fascinating, especially if you zoom in on the carpet. However, I don't believe those are footprints in Yawn's carpet: they are, in fact, images of demonic faces, writhing bodies, and the unquiet spirits of C9 past.

This is no ordinary carpet: Hieronymus Bosch appears to be alive and well and recreating dusturbing visions of hell on a shagpile in Worcester. If you squint at the first picture you might be able to trace the outline of a demon with a fork up its jaxy in between Yawn's feet by the skirting board.

Stay tuned: next week I'll be comparing one lucky bot's duvet cover with the Turin Shroud. #fakeittilyoumakeit #rollthestoneaway #notbloodylikely

BSintolerant · 09/09/2018 01:35

Dusturbing? Where did that come from? Grin

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 09/09/2018 10:15

Wow I just put Yawn's name and "Weight loss" into fb search like you said "Whiterangey".

Some of the claims she's made over the years Shock !!

In July 2012 she apparently dropped from a size 16/18 to a Size 10 in 6 months (4.5 stone weight loss) ...... so why in October of the same year does she embark on another C9 (boasting about losing a stone and dropping a dress size when she did the last one)?

Then in January 2013 she's boasting about a 5 stone weight loss in 12 months - she needs to get her story straight......so was it 4.5 stone in 6 months or 5 stone in 12 months? Did it take 6 months to lose that last half a stone??

There are at least 7 years of posts documenting weight gain, weight loss, weight gain, weight loss.... That cannot be good for your body or your soul, not to mention the effect on those who see the posts and are guilt tripped into trying the C9 etc which we know don't work for long term results.

And according to Uber's earlier post 15 of those bots are ones that are helping her coach !
