This is the 42nd thread in a long series about the dangers of network marketing/ MLMs such as Forever Living, Ariix, NuSkin, Arbonne, Younique, TS Life, and MANY MANY more!
Posts here will give examples of the lies told by 'top bots' who portray luxury lifestyles in order to lure in new victims and of the other techniques and brainwashing used by MLMs
Over 90% of people who join an MLM end up LOSING money. Always bear that in mind when considering paying money to join!

I still can't work out how the number of orchids in my leg affects my stipulated points.

I honestly thought it was satire!

Whiterangey · 05/09/2018 18:44

These threads are so informative, I never knew that orchid means testicles in greek. Now I need to find out a way to mention that in a conversation to make myself look smart.

Norma27 · 05/09/2018 20:16

I feel gutted after finding out some more about a fl bot I know. I know her from playgroups and school to say hi to but dont know her very well. She just popped up on my Facebook as someone I might know sp I clicked on her profile. I noticed some bits said her name mbe so I googled her.
This amazing lady was awarded an mbe for services to disabled people. Helping thousands get into work and training.

She also got diagnosed with stage 4 cancer 11 years ago. Her life has been saved by doing some clinical trial which she gives talks about.

I never knew what an amazing woman she is. She sounds so inspirational. How dare forever living get their bloody claws into her. Bastards. Who knows what brainwashing she has had now and what vulnerable people she may now try to get involved.

Mlm are bloody scum.

cozietoesie · 05/09/2018 20:39

She would be a real feather in someone's cap that's for sure.

Norma27 · 05/09/2018 20:50

She definitely would. I know she has been doing it for at least 3 years as she had a stall at a playgroup once about then.
I saw her recently in the background of one of yawn’s bots pictures at a training day at their head office in Warwick which is pretty local to us. I wonder if she could be yawn’s or bffs downlines. I’m so surprised I have never seen her mentioned by any of them now I know more about her.
I would love to know who her upline is.

notactuallyamum1 · 05/09/2018 23:59

I've been following these thread for just over a year and find them interesting and informative, although I'm not close with anyone whose involved with mlm directly I have sent Elle's blog out when necessary (guess the out come though).

Anyway, I digress, I live in America and am currently taking part in some sales training for work with top people in the industry- I just wanted to share THAT NOT ONE OF THEM HAS TOLD ME TO PLASTER MY BUSINESS ON SOCIAL MEDIA. The topic of fake it till you make it has come up, but in relation to the products rather than personally and how that this process is more damaging and just ask for help from coworkers and you'll go further. Faking anything is the worst idea and you will eventually just fail!

Whiterangey · 06/09/2018 00:06

I am absolutely certain that if she was in Yawn's downline that Yawn would be yapping about her constantly, about how someone with an MBE is part of FLP.

How much of your soul do you have to lose to do that to someone who has stage 4 cancer? Or maybe you just don't have a soul. It's sickening.

OhMyGodTheyKilledKenny · 06/09/2018 08:19

Wouldn't it be great to see some honesty in bot's posts.

Instead of :
"Fabulous night at our Exeter HQ sharing the benefits of Aloe Vera for digestive health and showcasing our business Oppourtunity to a packed room. So good to see so many business partners there."

it would actually read:

"Tedious night at some backroom of a local grotty hotel bullshitting about the "benefits" of Aloe Vera and how it makes you shit through the eye of a needle and showcasing our scam to a virtually empty room. Disappointed to only see the cleaner (who was waiting to hoover the room) and some random person who had wandered in by mistake when they were looking for the toilet. So good to see so a couple of equally desperate bots there as at least it made it look as though someone came"

Happypuppy · 06/09/2018 08:49

I was in Jury’s Inn, Exeter for work in July and was horrified to see a big poster telling the FL crew that the meeting was in the basement.

Unfortunately I was with a colleague so my dreams of infiltrating it and yelling, “It’s all shit!”were scuppered.

Charlie103 · 06/09/2018 09:22

Nice to see Salon has actually started doing a 'proper job'. Guess that residual income isn't as great as she made out.

Spongebobette · 06/09/2018 10:10

This, from one of the attendees at the Exeter event

HEALTH CLAIMS??!! Despite all of the advice from Head Office that you mustn’t make health claims? I sincerely wish someone asked probing questions about this slide, but I very much doubt it

If Aloe could cure those things don't you think the NHS would be prescribing it? It would save lots and lots of money on appointments, medications, not to mention sickness benefits.

Norma27 · 06/09/2018 11:23

I see homeschool bot is no longer homeschool bot. They moved house and the children wanted to try the local school now.
Were they pulled out of private school to homeschool? If so, moving was the excuse to now try the local state rather than go private again, a way of saving face when they are losing so much money and can no longer afford private fees.

Whiterangey · 06/09/2018 12:43

Yawn is back to work, albeit very part time apparently. She can only work very part time as there really isn't anything for her to do as it's more difficult now to convince new people to join.

Forever Living UK should have their accounts up on companies house at the end of the month, they should be very interesting. In the year ending December 2016 sales decreased by 25% and new business owners decreased by 52%, can't wait to see how 2017 went.

Norma27 · 06/09/2018 13:04

I noticed she was back very part time after her 7 weeks off!
She must be on track to earn 30p this year!

Whiterangey · 06/09/2018 13:44

Given that she has taken £188k out as a directors loan account thing, my guess is that this year will end in a negative. I wouldn't be shocked if her company ended up in insolvency and her owing the taxman.

I think the same will happen to Castle.

spanfan · 06/09/2018 13:57

Castles upline is doing a "yawn" and has posted before band after pics

I've counted 10 ways that she has improved her picture to make it look like a quick transformation.

Shameless.

Whiterangey · 06/09/2018 14:28

The before photo is about 18 months old, maybe older.

Norma27 · 06/09/2018 15:00

And doesn’t she have a child who is about 2. So that was a bit of baby weight she was carrying,

Joy1983 · 06/09/2018 20:16

Buy an Aloe Vera plant! It really has fantastic healing properties!

ArbunneHun · 06/09/2018 20:30

Wow, so Salon is back to being Salon! After all her talk about how MLM was so much easier and more profitable than running a salon, she’s now back to... running a salon.

Not sure how many customers for her plasma treatment she’ll find in Stoke. It’s on ‘special offer’ at £360 a pop.

Isn’t there a rumour that her house is on the market too? It’ll be the rangey next!

Whiterangey · 06/09/2018 20:51

It's not a rumour, it's on the market for just under £200k.

She posted the link on various local buy and sell groups in August.

The house next door sold for £160k last year so i'm guessing the price will end up getting lowered.

ArbunneHun · 06/09/2018 20:58

Oof. I’m assuming she’s not looking to buy somewhere bigger...?

Whiterangey · 06/09/2018 21:30

She also hasn't gone back to running a Salon, she's just bought a plasma pen and is doing treatments, anyone could do that, you don't need to be licensed. She is mobile as well, so can do them in the comfort of your own kitchen.

Whiterangey · 06/09/2018 21:31

She didn't mention where or what type of home she is planning on moving to. I'm going to take a guess that it isn't somewhere bigger though.
