This is the 42nd thread in a long series about the dangers of network marketing/ MLMs such as Forever Living, Ariix, NuSkin, Arbonne, Younique, TS Life, and MANY MANY more!
Posts here will give examples of the lies told by 'top bots' who portray luxury lifestyles in order to lure in new victims and of the other techniques and brainwashing used by MLMs
Over 90% of people who join an MLM end up LOSING money. Always bear that in mind when considering paying money to join!

Here's a TS Life before and after ad.

The product has only been available for purchasing since midnight on Saturday, so this is quite obviously fuck all to do with TS Life relabelled mass produced products.

Plus it's a weight loss claim.

Hellloooo ASA!

That is going in the Guinness Book of MLM Records for the fastest weight loss in history, even before anyone has received any of the products.

Also she looks the same in both photos except for different hair and clothes.

BangingOn · 02/09/2018 21:00

I’ve found Wig and Sleaze! Just went you think Brokecis the oddest MLM-er in the business....

I see Messiah has liked one of their posts, could they be headed to TS Life?

minisoksmakehardwork · 02/09/2018 21:10

Dh has just pointed out a 'fantastic job opportunity' for me. A travel agent, working from home, hours to fit in round your life and minimal outlay (but there is one). "Pm me for more info". I'm right in saying it's going to be a mlm type affair aren't I?

Whiterangey · 02/09/2018 21:12

@minisiksmakehardwork Yes, it sounds like one of the travel MLM's. I know one is called Inteletravel, there is also one attached to Ariix as well and I think there is another major one.

I going to guess the name of the travel agency wasn't mentioned?

minisoksmakehardwork · 02/09/2018 21:18

No, the name wasn't mentioned. But the woman's fb feed shows she's only been working for 'independent travel agent' since the middle of August. And the typical 'we have a mum on maternity leave, sahp, an accountant! Marine biologist all working for us' to try and justify it as a legitimate business.

My poor, poor dh! I know he's as keen as I am to find a job which works round everything. But I didn't think he was that daft!

acatcalledjohn · 02/09/2018 21:25

You'd think that even Messiah would draw the line at Wig and Sleaze.

@minisoksmakehardwork Sounds like MLM. If it sounds too good to be true...

And if it was so amazing, how come the big travel companies are still in business? You'd think that Tui and Thomas Cook would be shitting themselves if all these MLM travel businesses were half decent.

minisoksmakehardwork · 02/09/2018 22:01

As in the job was for me. Just realised that probably wasn't clear.

Yes, even more so with things like travel. How many of them are abta members I wonder.

Happypuppy · 02/09/2018 22:16

What’s a stretch bonus fgs?

BSintolerant · 02/09/2018 22:18

Why is the lady in the TS Life ad standing in the middle of a field of wheat? Is it a subliminal nod to Harvest Festivals, or is she channeling her inner Theresa May?

cozietoesie · 02/09/2018 22:23

.....her inner Theresa May..... Grin

Thank you, BS.

ArbunneHun · 02/09/2018 22:37

Sleaze & Broke used to be best MLM buds, back when they were in Ariiiiiiiix together. Then they had a big falling out and now they are sworn enemies. They’ve been though about eleventy hundred MLMs each since they were in Ariiiiix.

Joy1983 · 02/09/2018 22:39

I run my own Travel business and it's hard work.I have worked from home for 22 years It's had its highs and lows.I run my own websites advertising on Social Media Google Bing etc .If anyone gets involved with genuine Homeworking Travel Companies then there is money to be earned. But with affiliates if you host a website be careful as some can suddenly redirect what would be your sales back to them and make claims you're not advertising enough. If it's MLM then no doubt the prices are over inflated I work with nett rates from my suppliers

KittyVonCatsworth · 02/09/2018 22:50

I detest these MLMs. I’m part of a FB page called My Best Product Ever and despite stating in their rules that no individual should profit out of any recommendations or NWM schemes are provided, I was dismayed to see that there’s a ‘partner promotion’ with LimeLife. Just gives me the rage 😡

inner Theresa May Grin

@Happypuppy You stretch out the payment date until you have worn the recipient down so much that they stop chasing payment?

Whiterangey · 02/09/2018 23:07

That would annoy me too. I like my groups MLM free. There is a great beauty one on facebook that is totally 100% MLM free and it's awesome.

Very expensive though as people keep talking about stuff that I never even knew I had to have, which I then buy.

BSintolerant · 03/09/2018 00:14

Who are we going to blame for this year's crop circles: Mrs May, or the TS Life poster girl?

What if they're secretly meeting up in the countryside to go on the rampage together? Imagine what might happen if they enticed The Messiah into joining them in their agrarian antics.

"Do come along to the Last Supper, ooops, I mean barbecue, dear Messiah. Set you on fire? I wouldn't do that to you. Building a wicker man is quite beyond me: it's a boy's job so I've left that one for Mr May to do. Don't forget to bring all those minty chocolate goodies with you."Grin

To wind up MLM recruiters - AIBU

Seems to be a sudden influx of threads. The username made me smile...

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 03/09/2018 14:25

Just did a bit of digging around on Wig n' Sleazes FB pages and I've realised that they bought a campervan a couple of months ago.
This is probably the reason why we're not seeing any photos of the many hotels they're supposed to be staying in - their home is a van.

BSintolerant · 03/09/2018 15:04

Do they have to fill the Botmobile with aloe vera, or did they have it adapted so it runs on skinny coffee?

Is it white Dickie?

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 03/09/2018 15:43

It is indeed white.
I'm pretty sure it wasn't paid for with Bitcoin.

ArbunneHun · 03/09/2018 16:09

That is hilarious if true. They really are the lowest rent scammers on the internet.

The scammy gift that keeps on giving taking

smiinky · 03/09/2018 16:49

Hi Botwatchers, not been on here for a bit. A work acquaintance of mine is touting for sign-ups for webtalk. I watched the video and it all seems a bit pyramid shaped. I'm now really narked as I've read their terms and it sounds like they've already handed over their address book data to them. sounds like I'm gonna get spammed.

what do we know about them? They smell a bit funny.

dickiedavisthunderthighs · 03/09/2018 17:06

The bots are all over Webtalk. I've done some digging and they tried to launch this back in 2012 but got nowhere. The premise is decent enough, it hosts both private and professional data in one place, and you can choose who sees which profile.
However the reality is that the whole feed is just bots comparing how many referrals they've got. There is no decent content at all and I've no idea why anyone would actually pay to use it, which is where the bots would actually make their referral money.

ArbunneHun · 03/09/2018 19:47

Wig ‘n’ Sleaze are promoting Webtalk.

No further comment, M’lud.
