I think the members of the Anti-MLM Coalition in the UK deserves to be recognised for the reduced cheques that have been received by the Forever Living bots in the UK.

They have worked tirelessly to spread the Anti-MLM message which seemed like a pointless battle when they started.

Yet here we are, the message is getting out there, and people are beginning to get the message.

People are listening. Ex-bots are telling their stories and encouraging others to leave or not to join MLM's.

You are all awesome and have worked so hard, you deserve so much respect for helping so many people.

Back in JP land, Team Rhino apparently have over 200 new recruits in April. I really, really hope that isn’t true.

The Poonique boss babes are all in a fizz over their upcoming conference too. I hadn’t realised MLMs have a conference season but I suppose Spring makes sense- travel hasn’t hit peak season pricing yet but there’s enough sunshine at short haul destinations to make them appealing.

Where are the Poonique huns going for theirs?

Spain, not sure where exactly. Florist Bot (the opposite of the FL Bots in many ways- stylish, articulate and manages to make Younique look like a quality product, which is quite an achievement) is speaking and has been planning her wardrobe for weeks.

I remember reading something about the Mary Kay convention in Dallas, apparently servers hate it as they get no tips and the attendees do things like split one meal between two people. They do this because they can't actually afford to be there. None of it is paid for by Mary Kay so it's basically a lot of very poor people who are up to the eyeballs in debt trying to pretend they have made shitloads of money by flogging makeup.

Things are a bit different for those who qualify for the FL trip as that is paid for, but i'm guessing its the same for other conventions like JP and Poonique. Lots of bots who are in debt up to their spider leg framed eyeballs trying to make £5 last the whole time they are there.

I went to Dallas last year on a conference with my JOB and every last thing was paid for, including tips for servers. How can what they do be better?

I suppose it’s a more extreme version of playing the lottery. You know that someone will become a millionaire because of it, it’s unlikely to be you, but you keep buying a ticket just in case.

When my OH was spending money she didn't have to attend weekend "trainings" (pay for training, travel, hotel, food & drinks), I tried to point out to her that in my previous (skilled manual) job, my company would send me for (real, transferable skills) training abroad during which not only all this would be paid, I would also get a hire car, per diems on top of my full normal wages and weekend perks (e.g. skiing), her response was "you don't understand anything- you were just an employee, we're business builders".

The mind boggles...

Arbunne I love the term "Botshite" - it should be the official name for the language of bots.

It could also be used as a noun in Botshite as the equivalent to the English term "Gobshite."

Would anyone like to contribute to a Botionary? 😉 Did we ever decide on a suitable collective noun to describe a group of bots?
