I've also seen a few who are not bringing spouses and kids and are bringing teamies instead. I wonder if that is to keep the costs down. Leave a partner at home to look after the kids because bringing them means an airfare per kid, plus expenses.
Although they will receive a card with money on for expenses a 2500CC qualifier will only receive $1000. Which sounds like a lot but if you are bringing a couple of kids that is only $250 each for the week, which won't go far when you are in a decent hotel and having to buy 3 meals a day and whatever else you need.
A 1500CC qualifier only gets $500.
Given the sharp decrease in earnings and to save money, I think this is why there are a fair few not bringing children this year.
I imagine a fair few are desperately hoping for big cheques this year even though they know the chance of that is small. Given the sharp decrease in earnings the past couple of years I think homes may be at risk. A lot of bots seemed to buy new expensive homes after the 2016 mega cheques and now their CC's have dropped by half, or more since then.
I do think it is because of the work of the anti-MLM coalition. You ladies work so hard and have put so much of yourselves into trying to help complete strangers. You get so much abuse in return, but if you weren't doing some good by harming the MLM's, you wouldn't get the abuse. It's not quite a trip to Dallas and a cheque, but at least you can sleep at night.
A few years ago people would just block MLM posts and posters on social media or you might see the odd whine about them. Now you see people sharing anti-mlm things or ranting about MLM's and the people selling things on social media. For the most part those who are in MLM's have become social media pariah's. People are sick to death of them. They are not taken seriously, the majority of people scoff at their income claims and call them pyramid schemes.
