Have just found this thread- so glad! Nothing won today on just under £12000.

58 years ago we had saved up for getting married in premium bonds. We kept ten of them for sentimental reasons. Never had a win. Later we bought a thousand more from which years ago we received £25.
We don’t buy any these days as you have to buy them in single names and at our age we keep everything in joint names with either signature. That way no involvement with solicitors or probate.

I was excited to see on the news yesterday that the winner was local but sadly no knock on the door for me.

You’re doing very well shhh! I’m currently on 0.7%. I really should get rid of the maximum holding I have, the money would be much better invested elsewhere.
