It's phishing - a scam

PretendFriend · 29/09/2006 22:36

What does "submit your billing information mean" anyway?

It does sound very scammy. Were you able to get through on cece's 24-hr number?

PretendFriend · 29/09/2006 22:37

Oh well done, hunker

It's always such a relief to see the exact wording!

GarfieldsGirl · 29/09/2006 22:38

You can tell it's a scam from the exclamation mark in the Subject.

Now, laydees, can we all please relax and go back to your respective beds.

hub2dee · 29/09/2006 22:40

You can also tell from the 'z' in unauthorised.

I am Sherlock frggin' Holmes. LOL.

I was gonna say the exclamation mark gave it away... but somebody beat me to it LOL.

I got an email saying someone had used my Visa card on ebay and could I confirm my account number and the last three digits on the back of the card. Cheeky buggers.
