Thanks for your help. It means then that they have presumed that I will earn a specific amount each and every week according to their threshold. I told them that I won't. I Asked if I would be repaid the monies I have paid for the next year if I was under the threshold. No. Their advice was we will pay you back 3 months payment from the 12 payments we take from you. I said but I will not earn enough this year and I should be treated like a deferred customer. They said you will get 3 months money and we will keep the rest. I suppose that's what happens when the Govt sold SLC to their cronies.

That sounds correct, unfortunately. It would have happened with SLC as well as it happened with a friend that's the problem with assessing on previous years income.
