Had a scan on Sat that showed no FH even though I'm 10 weeks and had another scan today that confirmed mmc. booked in for ERPC tomorrow morning. Any advice about what to expect esp afterwards in terms of pain and bleeding? Thanks

Julz go to the doctor. If you have fever you may have something left inside that has got infected. You will need to take anti-bios asap. I got a temp on the day after and by the day after that it had spiked to 104% and I was really ill.

So sorry for you ladies. Pain shouldn't be too bad, it feels like trapped wind and is sometimes hard to walk upright but the hosp gave me dyhydracodeine (sp) and ibuprofen which worked. Be warned that you may pass clots and gushes of blood. Scary but nothing to worry about unless your temp doesn't go up.

Take it easy for a week or two, stay off work and take care of yourselves. Wait at least 2 cycles before TTC again, I didn't and miscarried a few days after period due date, I think my uterus was too thin after the scraping. The pain (both kinds) goes away over time. I joined a gym and lost weight, that was my displacement activity, it worked really well.

Hugs to you both and everyone else who is going through this xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

hi, went ok yesterday. dh was able to be there all day. woke up in a bit of a state after GA but then slept for a few hours on and off. cam home at 6.30ish feeling ok today, bad headache so taken pain killers.

napa - i too have cleaned! and am doing all the just jobs i kept putting off, avoidance is working but we have bought a box to keep some special things in. every so often i think of something to put in it and it sets me off again. am hoping to take dd (now she's not so spotty!) to preschool this pm with dh just to get otu of the house for a while.

Eleanorsmum = Im glad it went ok yesterday.

Kat - thanks, I went back to the hospital yesterday, I have got an infection in my womb, I ended up in a horrible state yesterday, they have given my antibiotics and pain killers, I have slept pretty much since yesterday afternoon when I got back, probably do the same todya. I hurt all over, my arms, legs, back, belly, head, everything aches. Finding it hard to get comfortable. Even boobs are killing me? Whats that all about?

Still in a pretty bad way, MIL has taken the boys today and it takes alot for me to let her take them, i just cant pick DS2 up or do much for myself tbh. Barely making it to the loo without sitting down for a rest half way there.

eleanorsmum glad yesterday was ok and hope you recover physically asap. my plan yesterday was to not think about any of it til dd went to bed cos she doesn't know and i don't want to upset her but once she was asleep i crumbled a bit. today she is at nursery for the day so we'll see how i get on alone all day. enjoy your trip out this afternoon, even if its only to nursery!!

julez sorry to hear how bad you are feeling, please take this time now, take any help offered and get well make sure you drink lots of fluids and eat when you can. antibiotics should really kick in after 24-48 hours so if you're no better in 2 days it might be worth going back again.

Julz - now you have them it should clear up, although I had to go back 3 days later to get stronger ones as they weren't doing the job, but hopefully your doc prescribed something strong in the first place.

Big hugs xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
