Hi,

Sorry if there is already a thread I couldn't see one. I had a MC in May I should have been 8w baby found to have no heartbeat and measured 6.3 weeks. Obviously I've spent hours, days, weeks & months researching I've seen quite a lot about taking aspirin after a MC. I've been going to see my GP she said to not take it but if I had a second she'd advise it not what I wanted to hear!
So has anyone taken aspirin has it helped or even any where it's caused an issue. I just find it's best getting advice from others who have sadly had an MC too.

Thank you

Hi all,

I’ve had two miscarriages and a chemical pregnancy. After my last miscarriage I told my gp that I wanted to be tested for aps as I have constant pins and needles. My mother has had a blood clot and my dad a heart attach, because of this my midwife said that at my 12 week scan (which I never made) they May suggest taking a low does of daily aspirin based on family history. So when I miscarried I did a lot of research into taking a low does daily from the moment you find out your pregnant. I found some reviews of people who swear by it. Well for myself I will definitely be taking it next time I become pregnant without my doctors advice. 75mg daily.

So sorry @Michelle0507 - fwiw I saw a miscarriage consultant and she put me on 75mg aspirin and high dose folic acid

Prior to seeing her I tried Angus castus which worked for my first baby

Stopped agnus castus when pregnant though, was just the ttc part
