7 weeks pg. Saw dr yesterday (was booked anyway but mentioned pg & bleeding) - he said it was likely to be a miscarriage and to wait and see and call an ambulance if it becomes excrutiatingly painful.

any advice?

Thank you. Ended up in hospital last night but it was awful so I discharged myself. Was admitted to a ward but after 3 hours was still waiting for doctor with no sign of them coming & I didn't want to have to be there overnight. PG test showed positive but it will so I don't know why they did it?

Have spoken to GP again this morning & have referral to EPU so have Scan tomorrow. I just wish they'd done that when I first saw GP on Tuesday. I did complain about everything to GP - the fact that no-one had said what to do about pain relief, I'd had to see/ speak to 3 Drs, EPU and midwife and be sent to hospital and still had no info. Why don't they tell you, when it becomes apparent that you're miscarrying, to be prepared with big pads, hot water bottles, paracetamol & they organise scan for you? Why have I had to make a million phone calls? It's a horrible thing to go through but all the added stress has been shit.

Bleeding eased up but I know I've lost my baby. Feel very tired, sad, confused, angry and uncomfortable but am very grateful for all help.

Thank you Flowers

So sorry you've had to go through this with so little constructive support.

Thanks for updating and am glad you have a scan arranged at last.
