6 or so weeks pregnant, slight bleeding yesterday, now it's like a period...

I'm losing hope here that everything is ok. I have a scan tomorrow to see what's happening. I keep changing between being positive, to bursting into tears.

AtAt I think if it is like a period you do need to prepare yourself that the pregnancy may be lost. I know you want positive stories and im sure there are a few about, but my own personal experience is that once the bleeding was fairly heavy and prolonged the midwife agreed it didn't look good and the scan the following day confirmed my thoughts.

Try and hope for the best but prepare for the worst. Hand holding xx

Are you in pain? Passing clots?

AtAt · 15/03/2015 13:16

I've had cramps the last couple of weeks and today there have been blood clots. I think I know what the outcome is, just in denial

I'm so sorry, clots isn't a great sign.

My first pregnancy I had painless heavy red bleeding. It was a sub chorionic haematoma and DS was fine.

Third preg I'm having crampy period bleeding and it's a mc.

Most pregnancy bleeding is OK. There's still hope. Xx

Sorry to hear this - hope you find out either way via scan ThanksBrewThanks

It's the waiting and not knowing that I'm finding hard, if I knew one way or the other, I could start dealing with it.
Sorry to anyone else that has gone through this Thanks

I am so sorry OP, I truly hope everything is okay, having to wait is very unpleasant.

Still waiting for confirmation, as no pregnancy on the same. Will get official result towards the end of the week.
I had no idea about the waiting involved, I thought they'd scan and say yes or no from there. Instead, it's blood tests today and in 48 hours time for a definite result, but think it's just a formality
