It has been 37 days since I had my second EPRC at 9 week, though bleeding started at 5+2so it has been a looooooong time since positive baby thoughts. I haven't been temping or doing OPK so no idea whether I ovulated, though have DTD at various time since. I had convinced myself I might be pg due to various symptoms (which I still have) so POAS this week and got a BFN. So looks like I need to keep waiting. Anyone want to sit it out with me?

Hi Rashelia. I am so sorry to hear what a long drawn out process you have been through. To add that to the sadness of the loss of your baby must have been grim. I spoke to a gynaecologist yesterday who said there's no reason to wait if you feel up to it. The wait for 1 period is for dating purposes. I just got my period 4 weeks after the erpc, 3 weeks after passing a whole lot of retained products they missed. We didn't use contraception once the bleeding stopped, I think it would have made us even sadder. That said, I have never been happier to have a period!

If you want some company, over on the posifrikentivity ttc thread in conception there are a whole bunch of us coming up from the same ordeal and starting again. There's a whole lot of experience and wisdom shared, and a lot of hugs. Take care.

Hi rashelia sorry to hear of your loss and experience. I would echo what handsful said re dating. We also did not use an contraception after my ERPC. It will be 9 weeks tomorrow and no AF yet. I am sooooooooo jealous of handsful now Shock

Thank you for your reply and advice. Sorry to read about your bad experience also.

Yes, it's been pretty hard. I didn't want to go for the erpc, as I'm not a fan of medication or operations unless really necessary, but after medical management and then a very heavy random bleed, I wanted to get it all over and done with. I will definitely join you guys. Thanks again!
