Waiting for a scan in triage because the mw couldn't find a heart beat with the doppler. 18 weeks and paranoid due to mmc at Xmas and weird cramps and discharge this morning. Trying not to cry because DS with me. Waiting for DH to get out of work so he can take DS off my hands. Fuck.

I was in your situation at 29 weeks with ds2 and it turned out well. (he's now 6)

Thinking of you xx

Flosie1989 · 04/08/2012 11:13

I know it's easier said than done but try and keep calm and take a couple of breaths. I am thinking of you and giving you a hug xxx

Thinking about you. Really hoping all is well, like so many people have said these things can happen, and seem so scary, but turn out fine in the end.

MikeLitorisRings · 04/08/2012 16:37

I do hope you are ok.

X

bonzo77 · 04/08/2012 17:33

Thanks for all the messages ladies. The doctor found a very lively baby with a fine heart. I felt like such a dick going in, but they're always so nice about it. They said to just go in, any time day or night if i was worried again. One of those occasions when the NHS really Is wonderful. I'm going to send them a thank you card.

OddBoots · 04/08/2012 17:34

Oh brilliant news, very pleased for you, never feel bad for going in.

mynameis · 04/08/2012 17:37

Oh that's fantastic news Grin

Similar thing happened to me with my last DD. Her heartbeat was always difficult to pick up with a Doppler as she had an anterior placenta

JustFabulous · 04/08/2012 17:37

Brilliant news and sending a card is very thoughtful and I am sure will be appreciated very much.

I had similar at 2 days before the viable stage - couldn't find heartbeat/felt like I was having contractions, sent me home as they wouldn't try and save baby anyway. Baby just turned nine. Smile

Methe · 04/08/2012 17:38

Really glad everything is ok :)
