Waiting for a scan in triage because the mw couldn't find a heart beat with the doppler. 18 weeks and paranoid due to mmc at Xmas and weird cramps and discharge this morning. Trying not to cry because DS with me. Waiting for DH to get out of work so he can take DS off my hands. Fuck.

NHS antenatal depts. are stars. I went in because DD1 hadn't moved. This was years before count the kicks and I felt a bit silly panicking. They were absolutely lovely.

That's fantastic :) So pleased for you. It is much better to get checked over and find nothing wrong than leave it and miss something. Just wonderful news :)
