Hi. I am almost 8 weeks and had small amount of dark brown spotting yesterday. This then stopped. I went to EPAU today and although it measures at almost 8 weeks there is no heart beat. I had to go back to work afterwards. I have not told anyone at work and my husband is working away. I have been given the 3 options but am not sure what to do. This was my first pregnancy. I guess I am just after people telling me it will get better.

Lemon,

It will definitely get better and, hard though it is to imagine now, you will just see it as "one of those things" when you eventually get the family that you want, which I am sure that you will.

Just after we got married, my wife had a MMC and the operation. It took her nearly a year to get pregnant again, but we now have a 17 month year old and my wife is 8 36+2 today.

Beefcake,

Never give up. This pregnancy started with an 11 day implantation bleed, which we assumed was an early miscarriage (and were fairly relaxed about). The "early miscarriage" is due to be born November 15th!
Best of luck with your scan today.

It's over - done and dusted. Just small echos on the ultrasound. what was really odd was my 8 year old daighter said out iof the blue about a fortnight ago - "mummy your eyes look pregnant" - she'd seen a photo of me after giving birth and said my eyes looked like that!! Yesterday she said "your eyes don't look pregnant anymore". Very strange but obviously true Bless her!!

So good luch lemon and everyone else who's gone through the same. I'm over and out :) thank you for your support and warm wishes x
