I found my libido!!!!!

I've been off my pill for 6 months. Periods are regular and manageable and this last fortnight I've found my libido - BOOSH!!!

Husband is delighted and so am I.

Except I had to get the morning after pill on Monday and I was totally mortified.

I'm afraid if I go back on the pill I'm going to loose my libido again.

I'm looking for advice, what can I use that isn't the pill? I'm 50 and husband is 58. (Condoms don't really work for us)

Just crack on, there is an extremely low chance of you falling pregnant at 50! Suggesting your DH gets a vasectomy at 58 (and with you at 50) as a few posters have done is bloody ludicrous. You have a less than 1% chance of falling pregnant, and the pregnancy going to full term!

Obviously, you're going to get a few people saying their great auntie Fluff, and great gran had babies at 49, 50, 51, 52 etc, but the chances are that this was a grandchild! (One of their teen daughters had a baby, and they raised it, and pretended to everyone that it was theirs!) 😬

Happened LOADS back in the day! I know lots of people now in their mid to late 40s (or older) who were raised by granny, and they thought she was their mum until they were a teenager.

My DH is a similar age to yours and had a vasectomy. Very quick and simple. Almost no pain and we then enjoyed the process of making sure he had enough ejaculations to clear the tubes!!
