I just don't feel like me and feel lost ...

I'm tired all the time, experiencing Brian fog, memory loss, headaches, weight gain, black heads and spots along jaw line, hairs on chin and neck. I'm emotional all the time and l have crippling anxiety which really is affecting my daily life. I've quit my job of 9 years and now I'm on my third job but still not happy. I feel like I don't have a purpose. I took a job with less responsibility and less hours but didn't feel happy or satisfied. Now I'm working more hours with more responsibility I feel stressed. I just can't settle. It's like I want something but then I don't want it. I'm 41 and my kids are teenagers so not sure if it's a mid life crisis or if I'm menopausal 😭. Did anyone else feel like this? Im not suicidal but some days I just feel like I'm done, like what's the point or my purpose. I don't even enjoy things that's I used to enjoy anymore either. I have the coil so don't have periods as such so no really changes there but I just don't feel like me.

Just a bit of feed back. I try Her Mind supplement as advised on here- only a few days in and do feel better!I take a multivitamin too. Feel happier and definitely feel like more energy which was/is my problem. Not sure about brain fog yet.

I also tryied Tyrosine - not sure if it was that or not but terrible nights sleep, almost like I didnt need to sleep, had felt good that day. Felt fine the next day. Havent taken another yet.

I take most of the supplements.

Anyone have digestive problems and lots of burping?

HRTotallyconfused · 30/03/2022 12:24

@Aquamarine1029

HRT. It's a lifesaver. I started taking it at 41 and I'm still on it 8 years later. It literally saved me.
100% this (despite my username! I'm just changing doses)

Totally forgot I started this thread. Thank you😊. The last few weeks I've been suffering with tired, heavy and aching legs like I've walked miles. Its also a struggle to bend and put shoes on without groaning which maybe due to weight gain. Just feel like a old lady at 41 how will I even cope at 60 😭

Hi all, this thread is reassuring, thank you although im sorry we are having problems in different ways. I thought I'd posted earlier in this thread under a different name but I can't see it.

I'm mid 30s and have had the following over the last 2 years:

Dry mouth
Dry eyes
Gained weight which won't go despite changes to diet and activity
Palpations
Brain fog
Anger but this was brief
Being too hot a night but this is not regular
Hot flushes
Anxiety

The anxiety has been the worst part. It's a bit better now but difficult to predict, can be up and down in a day and it suddenly goes or it comes on.

I saw my GP who was very thorough but everything came back clear. He thinks I have post viral issues. I've never knowingly had covid. He's out me on forceval supplements to try. He said he'd repeat bloods in a month.

I know you aren't GPs but I wondered how my experience related to yours please? I'm sceptical of the viral suggestion but maybe it's a covid thing.

Thank you.
