Prompted by the unmasking of a few more Worcs mums....

We're due another get-together. Shall we suggest dates in Sept ? I know we're only just into August but DH is working away and things are a bit muddled diary-wise for this month.

So far pretty much any evening in Sept is free for me. Ideally it'll be a Weds, Thurs or Friday night

I'm in Droitwich & would love to come, most of September is fine by me so far.

GeorginaA · 08/08/2005 15:15

Sounds good to me!

snukums · 08/08/2005 16:17

would love to meet up.

sassy · 09/08/2005 08:42

I'll come! Still in Stourport at the mo, but looking to move back to Worc next year all being well. (Lived in Barbourne 10 years ago, miss it.)

NomDePlume · 09/08/2005 11:50

Yippeeeeeeeeee

Well given that Weds/Thurs/Fri are best for me I'll jot the dates down...

Thurs 1st Sept
Fri 2nd Sept

Weds 7th Sept
Thurs 8th Sept
Fri 9th Sept

Weds 14th Sept
Thurs 15th Sept
Fri 16th Sept

Weds 21st Sept
Thurs 22nd Sept
Fri 23rd Sept

Weds 28th Sept
Thurs 29th Sept
Fri 30th Sept

In an ideal world (for me at least), we'd do it on a Weds or Thurs and pref after the first week, as my money goes into my account on the first of the month but doesn't show up for at least another 4/5 days (grrrr). But, I am flexible and if the first week and/or a friday is all that we can all do then I can still make it

Can't do Thursdays but Wednesdays/Fridays good - will jot down my free days (who am I kidding - probably all of 'em!) later when I get more than 2 seconds to myself...

Ailsa · 09/08/2005 13:55

14/15/16 best for me as dh is on earlies. Other weeks not a problem if that's what the majority want - I'll have to bite the bullet and ask MIL to babysit.

Sassy - I live in Barbourne - dh keeps wanting to move to a bigger house, but I've told him that if we move anywhere we'll be going 250 miles north!

NomDePlume · 09/08/2005 18:14

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO ! Ailsa, it's grim oop north, haven't you heard ?

Is the 14/15/16 week ok for everyone else ? I'd rather do the Wed if I'm honest, so how is everyone fixed for Wednesday 14th September somewhere in Worcester or near ?

Rats ? Gumdrop ? Are you up for this too ?

Wed 14th o.k. by me. DH works shifts & don't know any babysitters yet so may have to drop out when we get his shift pattern.

sassy · 09/08/2005 20:57

That Weds sounds fine for me - as long as there is sufficient notice for me to get dh organised, any night suits me.

NomDePlume · 10/08/2005 09:56

Good to see it's taking shape, so far we have....

Never mind I will keep an eye out for the next meet up.

Have fun ladies!!

snukums · 10/08/2005 15:29

if i can get a sitter wed is fine for me too if its in worcester.

Gumdrop · 11/08/2005 09:20

Hello - Yes I'm up for it. What about Beanieiu, Lunarsea and some of the others from the last time. Maybe we managed to completely put them off !

Whenever, wherever etc, etc. Spot the woman with no life.

NomDePlume · 11/08/2005 11:20

Lol Gummy . BTW I think I walked past you in Worcs the other Sunday, i think you were with your DH, walking down by the back of M&S.

OP posts:
Gumdrop · 14/08/2005 14:27

Yes, if the DH in question could pass for an extra in the pastoral hobbits bit of Lord of the Rings, i.e. curly hair, big tum, 'bout 5ft tall.

Hope I didn't blank you too badly, but I'm really crap at recognising faces. Spotting breeds of horses and dogs, no worries - recognising my own relations when meeting them after 12m, walked right past and accosted complete stranger with warm hug.

Maybe I should start a thread "I don't recognise my own family, am I being unreasonable" - or would that be too attention seeking!

Gumdrop · 17/08/2005 10:18

Bump

NomDePlume · 17/08/2005 10:25

ROFL !!!!!! It was deffo you, but the bloke looked taller than 5ft ! You're quite tall (IIRC) and he was about the same height

I don't know. Got a lot happening at home at the mo (all good stuff) so not sure I'll be able to organise it or even attend ! Someone will have to take over for me
