PanicPants · 06/05/2006 22:00

Hi steppy1, I used to be jmum6, changed name a while back - long story!

Not pregnant sadly - don't suppose they do post prednant ladies workouts to get rid of the saggy tummy?

Steppy1 · 06/05/2006 22:06

we do actually...a post natal "Fitness after Birth" course......and I run a Step class at the Link centre (hence the stupid name :o) on a Friday morning 930 - 1030. I am NOT a good advert though as I'm a bit of a big old bird.....but do like to do a bit of a mean old step class (even if I say so myself (blush)

....woops SORRY, something happened to my computer and ended up triple posting (blush)

PanicPants · 06/05/2006 22:11

Tell me about the 'fitness after birth' course. The step class sounds a bit hectic. I am sooooo unfit and would probably pass out after a step class! Blush

Steppy1 · 06/05/2006 22:20

..it's a different session every week to target specific areas so wk 1 is a gentle intro back into exercise...we also show you how to do a "rec check" (not a rectum check you'll be pleased to know....just a check to see how your abs are doing after pregnancy as they really stretch !!!!) we alos incorporate a body balance sessions (combinatin of tai chi, yoga an dpilates) to work on posture, a body conditioning (very light weights) a fat burner then a general all round work out...class is really popular....short notice foryou though because the next course starts on Monday at 11 am !!!!!

PanicPants · 06/05/2006 22:28

Damn.

We're going away on Monday to the Isle of Wight. Would it matter if I missed a session? But I don't belong to the gym and don't really want to join one, but like the sound of the course.

What are the costs? Any spaces left?

steppy1 · 06/05/2006 22:32

...as your a musnetter that would be OK...happy to pro rata for the 5 sessions...and if you got to the 2nd session a bit earlier then I'd be happy to run through the rec check bit with you...how old is baby ? We're usually more than happy for them to come along until they're moving around (they then get bored !) but Cannons DO have a good creche. remember you DON'T need to be a member to join this session... which is £42 for the 6 (pro rata cost £35)

steppy1 · 06/05/2006 22:33

.......why the change of name....intrigued !!!!
