Yesterdays meet up was unsuccesful so why don't we try it again.

Loobie and I went with our kids and they had a ball all knackered out by the time we got home.

So who's up for it then?????

Come on you know you want to put the faces to mad names

Lets all get together, we just need to agree on a date and time and of course the location.

who's coming to this one

So let me just confirm that its on a SUNDAY? Just so I'm sure....... don't know where Little Marcos is, but I'll find it.

Prettybird · 30/08/2005 16:11

Yes, it's a Sunday.

I don't know where Little Marcos is either, but I am sure I will find it.

jamboure · 30/08/2005 19:13

If it's easier we can all meet at the train station and go to little marcos together

ALTHOUGH!!!!!

This time we need to do/wear something to recognise each other. On last meetup loobie and I were in 1 part and other mnetters were in another. We probably went past each other too

Loobie · 03/09/2005 11:27

I suggest we all wear a little sticker saying mumsnet on it then only those who are supposed to know us will know us IYKWIM LOL!!!

sweetkitty · 05/09/2005 14:58

Am gutted looks like we are finally going to move this weekend so next weekend will be out as well (far too much unpacking/DIY to do) typical eh? I do nothing all year then am busy when there is a meet up.

I'll be far more central for Glasgow/Edinburgh so will deffo be coming to the next one.

I can still come but it would be better to meet at Haymarket Station rather than Waverly as is much nearer to Little Marcos I think???

Toothache · 07/09/2005 12:19

MEEE MEEEEEEEEE I'm still coming!

Will meet at HayMarket.... or Waverley.... and I'll wear a badge that says Mumsnutter.

Gomez · 07/09/2005 12:24

Not for me this time guys. Have a nice time.

Loobie · 07/09/2005 13:11

Sorry yes haymarket is closer thats what i meant to put in originally LOL!!

gscrym · 09/09/2005 12:21

I'd love to go but I plan to be scaring the locals in my bikini in Spain. Have fun.

Prettybird · 09/09/2005 15:14

I think I can still come - although I really must mention it to dh!

I'll come over by train, as ds (5 tomorrow) loves train trips. Also that way, dh has the car if he wants to go and play golf.

SO, I'll see you at Haymarket at c.2pm. I'll get the 1pm train from Glasgow. I'm 5 ft 4, longish blondish hair and slim-ish. I'll be with my extremely handsome 5 year old - who has light brown hair but very dark eyes and a dark skin (his dad must have a ship-wrecked Spaniard somewhere in his past)

Toothache · 09/09/2005 15:42

Just to recap..... it is the 18th... and that is a Sunday isn't it???

I'll be there!! With a hang over though!

ja9 · 10/09/2005 19:32

hI. I think i might come... train getting into haymarket at just before 2pm. I've met toothache before... I'll have my 1 yr old ds with me in a m&p pram. is there an obvious place to met? I dont know haymarket at all...

Loobie · 10/09/2005 20:34

Me im coming too!! will be coming on the bathgate train though.I'll have three kiddies with me,the boys are 9 and 7 and my daughter is almost 3,the eldest will be wearing a badge stating he has autism and cant behave, basically!!So just look for the kid climbing or following wires around wearing a colourful badge and you'll find me tailing after him !!

ja9 · 11/09/2005 08:53

i've changed my mind and decided not to come after all. sorry.

hope this meetup is a roaring success tho'!! look forward to hearing how it went.

Prettybird · 12/09/2005 13:00

SO at the moment it just likes like Loobie, Weesadie, Toothache, Jamboure and me, plus respective little ones.

is that right?

If I get the one o'clock train over from Glasgow, I'll get in about 10 to 2.

Toothache · 12/09/2005 13:10

I thought there were LOADS of Mumsnetters going! We must not be marketing this right.

Ah well, it'll be a nice intimate group.

Just to let you all know I will be wearing a badge (literally) that says Meet-Up on it in BIG writing!!! I'm not getting lost this time..... at the Stirling meet-up I had to eaves drop on conversations waiting to hear the word MN to find everyone.... then eventually Ja9 shouted TOOTHACHE!! We got some very strange looks.

Toothache · 12/09/2005 13:12

Where shall we stand at Haymarket??? Upstairs at the entrance, 2pm??
I'll have my ds (4) with me, but not dd.... she's too much like hard work!

Prettybird · 12/09/2005 14:07

That sounds good Toothache.
