Ok.
WE really need to get this sorted if we are to hold a party this year.
As it seems i've somehow managed to volunteer to organise it we figuered we'd just go back to the Hat & Tun as last year's do was so succesfull.

We have a preliminary date of the 28th November.

Last year everyone paid £20 towards venue hire and food ( which was delicious) so if everyone is agree'd we will just do that agin this year.

so if everyone that is interested in coming could PLEASE list your names on this thread so that we know this will be a viable event.

otherwise i need to phone pizza hut and book a booth

NaughtyAlice - was vaguely thinking of getting the last train back at midnight as Farringdon isn't far from Kings Cross.

Am paranoid as all the mothers in this part of N.London look like they've got makeup artists on hand in the morning. Went to DS's new school y'day for a meet n' greet and all the women seem to have just breezed in from London Fashion Week. I'd thrown on first thing I could find that didn't have his greasy paw prints all over. Party sounds great. Will check dates with DH and sign up!

I walked past the pub today - there are two entrances. There are big steps on one and the other has a smaller step about five inches high one side and about two inches high the other side - the pavement slopes.

Just for info for any wheelchair users - someone will have to be on standby to help you in but no lifting will be required, just a little bit precarious due to the sloping pavement.

Having spent a few months pushing my mum in a wheelchair after she fell over I am appalled by the state of pavements and entrances to shops and pubs. You don't notice until you use a wheelchair yourself.

Anyway, if you need me go in and test the alcohol I am happy to do so!!
