will try and get there for 12ish. Girls have dancing 10-11 and will have to come home and throw some food together to go with cafe chips
Will have to try and remember a football to keep ds entertained.

browny · 06/08/2009 21:43

Nemo, that's great, I can't wait to meet your dd3, see you tomorrow...sorry, won't be able to bring any babysitters for you, they're all away .

browny · 07/08/2009 11:28

Hi, I'm running a bit late, hope to see you about 12.30 ish .

laylajane · 07/08/2009 17:00

Well, we waited outside the cafe (there's only 1, right?) until about 12:15. There were a few groups of mums and children on the grass but I couldn't work out which one you all were, and didn't really know what to say "excuse me, are we meeting you?!?!" So dd and I played on the swings for a while and had our picnic and came home. She was the two year old in blue on a red and blue bike with a bright pink cycle hat. I guess I must have walked past you - next time I need utterly idiot-proof instructions....

notevenamousie · 07/08/2009 17:03

Oh BOTHER and have now just 'outed' myself from a much needed name change to talk about something horrible somewhere else. The previous post was me but please don't go putting 2 and 2 together.

Biglips · 07/08/2009 17:54

notevenamousie - you can always ask mumsnet tower to delete your normal name post and repost it again on here using "notevenamousie" name

well i got there for 12.45pm as traffic was heavy...i could only was able to see the "oldies" like me to look out for....there were loads of people there and even by the cafe so i couldnt spot anyone looking lost there. next time best to describe what ya wearing and we will look out for you.

it was lovely to see you Browny and we are all sooo tired!..it took dd2 2 split seconds to clap out in the car!!

notevenamousie · 07/08/2009 18:07

Next time I will bring a sign or something!

browny · 07/08/2009 19:09

Sorry we missed you Notevenamousie, I didn't have your mobile number to let you know that I was running late , there's always next time .

Biglips, thanks for meeting up today, it was the perfect day for it!! How cute did our two dd's look playing on the rugs? We should do it more often!.

gigglewitch · 07/08/2009 19:31

Hope everyone ok and enjoying this sunshine.

gigglewitch · 17/08/2009 20:36

hehe!

andirobo · 17/08/2009 23:27

I may be around on 26th - is the yell sub ok for 7 year olds, as she gets awfully bored easily!!

jaamy · 18/08/2009 07:55

AR - we went to yellow sub in May school hols with Browny's older children. They seemed to enjoy it.

OP posts:
browny · 19/08/2009 00:49

Jaamy, just a quicky, count us in for the yellow sub too.. mind you dd2 has grown even more, remember last time we went, the miserable old so and so on the reception desk, told her she was too tall, but she could go in "this time" but to duck down low on the top play area [h.mm]

jaamy · 19/08/2009 11:26

Browny - you'll have to bring her birth cert with you! It's Ei who's heading to the Yellow Sub. Think she said 26th. Not sure we can make it after the Emerald Isle bled us dry on hol!!!! But you never know, might be able to twist the bank manager's DH's arm to let me have some spends.

OP posts:
Nemoandthefishes · 19/08/2009 21:28

oh might try to get there next wed. Girls are in nursery until 12.45 so probably wouldnt get there until 1.15 so would anyone be there then or do yellow sub still throw you out?

browny · 24/08/2009 23:54

Hi, who's going to the yellow sub on Wednesday? I'll be there, but what time?

jaamy · 25/08/2009 00:11

Sorry Browny...no can do. Hope you all have fun!
