if not i couldnt come due to a number of reasons 1) DD has an ear and water infection so not well, 2) my grandad had a stroke yesterday and 3) my nan who was very ill a few weeks ago (wife of said grandad) went into heart failure today so is now also very poorly in hospital what else?? im starting to slip out of my box with all the stress DAMN!! bloody life is poo at the mo

AR Hope your DD wasn't too bored, bless her. DH had to phone M&S because nobody bothered to let him know the order was botched. They were very apologetic and had no idea anything had gone astray. If he'd ordered flowers and champers for his mum, for example, she'd never have complained (well actually she would, but you get my gist). Probably, the dodgy delivery man nicked the bottle, after all, the box didn't smell like a bottle of champagne had been broken in it! M&S are re-delivering everything on Friday as well as an M&S voucher. DH says we can take the Champers camping

Ei - sorry to hear things aren't going so well. Hope your nan is comfortable and I'm sure is surrounded by the people who love her. Hope your Grandad recovers well and that S is feeling better soon. x

BTW Champers arrived today (with more flowers) . There is now a bit of an RHS vibe going on in the jaamy house ATM! Bubbles will be consumed following errection (of tent) on Sunday in Castle Howard.

There's nothing much going on here, apart from dd3 keeping me awake most of the night feeding, she must be having another growth spurt!

Are we planning a 'meet-up' soon as I am sure we need to 'wet the baby's head' - Little Fishie No 4 is a good reason to celebrate, and what with commiserations needed for MD returnng to work, and it is nearly the summer hols and we will all be off to sunny places......any more reasons!!

DP is gutting hte lounge atm....we are now in the painting phase!!!!

it is grey almond and white he chose the colours .....but i get to accessorise

We are getting plastered tomorrow apparently! I had chosen natural Calico for the kitchen - and DD and I painted a spare piece of plasterboard with it, and I said to her - I bet your Dad says it is white - and guess what - he did! We are now getting a tester pot for Natural Hessian, and sticking with one of the two - and I am getting to choose! I did compromise and say we could re-paint it before christmas if we didnt like it!! (knowing full well that will never happen!!)

Kitchen fitters due on 27th July - 4 days after my birthday! If I remember right, MD's LO has her birthday then as well!
