**cambridge mums**

Hi there,

just wondered who's out there around Cambridge. Would love to start meeting a few mums nearby with kiddies around the same age as my DD..she's nearly 8 months (my god that's gone fast!!)
was supposed to go to a meetup a few weeks ago and completly forgot and was then too embarassed to get back in touch...I'm sorry!!
would love to hear from any mums that fit the bill!!

hi, just wondered if i could intrude in the meet up too, i live 15 miles, ely side of cambridge.

Right how about sunday the 17th on Jesus Green - there is a lovely play area and lots of grass - there is also Cambridge city centre 5 mons walk if rainning???????

But as now finished work for summer holls - could be a week day. Cat I want to see THAT ring!

ok, not sure if it is still on for sunday, sadly i cant make it. ( descending family from kent!!) but would be really interested in meet up with people. it does seem if cambridge shire mums on here r few nd far between!!!

I can't make Sunday either Cazzybabs sorry! i have family commitments. Could we make it a week day?

im in, as long as i get very clear directions!!! could i bring a friend aswell? she is a childminder and has 2 of her own children. we wuld have to get the bus in from st. neots to the city centre. so please can i have directions from there. ( my dd is having her jabs tomorrow and she ended up having fits and being hospitalised last time, im hoping she wont again but if so i apologise now for my abscence!) x

I'll do my best with directions...here goes!!
from the main bus station, you head over Christ peices, the green area adjacent to buses, as if walking towards the grafton centre. when you come to the road you cross to get to grafton centre, don't cross it, but turn left instead. Keep walking till you hit big roundabout(not far) and go straight over there. There should then be Midsummer Comman on your right. Keep walking and you'll see Jesus Green on your left. (it's a lovely big open space with a tree lined walkway). at the end of the walkway, there's a skate ramp on your right. shall we meet near to there at about 12? (I figure that'll be an easy place to spot!)

i'm up for meeting tomorrow. I'm wondering weather Jesus green is a bit tricky and large to meet up on tho...worried we'd never find each other! But i guess the skate ramp will be easy enough

hiya all, well im dyong to know if the meet up went ahead. im afrai my dd was very ill again. been so worried it has made me throw up, cant believe i have to gp through it again in a month!!! neway, ne1 intersted in 1 next week? x

I'm so sorry...had a really hard couple of weeks and have to be honest...I completly forgot about the mee up. Carys is hardly sleeping at night at the moment so as you can imagine, we're both quite tired! My brain is in mush mode quite alot of the time! On top of it all, moving house AGAIN in 2 weeks, but this time to my permanent place. One last big upheaval and then we should start to get ourselves better organised! Carys' bday in the middle of it all aswell so things are going to be hectic, but I'd love to meet up once things are slightly more settled. Hope everybody's well and happy,
