Open to anything (except possibly Italian as wheat-free doesn't leave much once you've deducted pizza and pasta!) - but quite fancy something spicy. We've done Chinese, so how about Indian? Or Thai (Thai Village or Beau Thai )? Can't think of any mexican places around Solihull area.

lavenderrr · 17/04/2005 19:16

LunarSea wanted apologize for being rude to you last time.

LunarSea · 17/04/2005 19:42

No worries!

jampots · 17/04/2005 20:09

god you are sooo cruel - ive wanted to go to The Thai Village for absolutely ages

Ronniebaby · 17/04/2005 20:11

I'll wait to see what the vote is, I'm a fussy eater and I didnt see anything on the menu(s) I liked or would eat, I'll leave it open to the floor.

Those were only some ideas - I'm equally happy for you to pick somewhere where you will find something you like. Perhaps pub type food is a better bet? Back to the Heron's Nest where we did the first one would be ok - it was at least quiet enough to hear each other talk! Or the Black Boy, just along the road from there? They should both be quiet enough on a Wednesday.

twinklemummy · 18/04/2005 13:33

hi yes the heron,s nest missed that one last time around or even the black boy ,pub food menu,s do tend to have abit of everything on them

hope that helps

tc ev1 hope you are all keeping well these days

Anyone been there, whats the food like???? I cant find a link on the web for it.

OP posts:
LunarSea · 20/04/2005 22:16

Umm - it's sort of pub food - can't remember precisely although have eaten there before. Seem to recall quite generous portions though.

Have a look at this or this .

Ronniebaby · 21/04/2005 17:50

LS I found things like those, but nothing to give you an idea of the type of food they do, I'm easy (no comments please )

So I'll go with the majority (within reason)

Jampot - no excuses!!!!!!!!!!

just wanted to quickly interrupt, thanks RonnieBaby for the e-mail, have forwarded it on to quite a few people so erm thanks...funny answers

jampots · 21/04/2005 20:33

Black Boy serves typical pub grub - sometimes good, sometimes not so good. Used to be brill - not so of late IMO

Ronniebaby · 21/04/2005 21:25

Well lets go to Herons Nest or Orange Tree, did we try there???

OP posts:
jampots · 21/04/2005 21:32

we did ronnie - you didnt

LunarSea · 21/04/2005 21:53

We did Orange Tree - but no-one could hear each other talk! Might not be so bad midweek, but I'd say the Heron's Nest might be a safer bet.

twinklemummy · 22/04/2005 15:25

hi we doing the heron,s nest ,black boy or orange tree?

LunarSea · 22/04/2005 15:41

Well if no-one else will make a decsion I'm going to say Heron's Nest, next Wednesday at 7.30. And if anyone has any objections/alternatives, shout NOW!

Ronniebaby · 22/04/2005 16:02

I'm ok with Herons Nest, but wont be there at 7.30pm, more like 8pm, due to 2 kiddies (1 baby).

Baby is having injections on this day which is another reason why I cant make 7.30pm

Ronniebaby · 22/04/2005 16:03
