I've only just seen this thread - I'd love to come, but dh is working away a lot at the moment, so I'll need to wait until a date is decided on & then see if I can make it.

Sala Thai is lovely. There's also a new Thai place opened just around the corner from there called Jino's. It always looks busy so I presume must be good. Also there's a thai place in Chapel Allerton which is very good - Sukho Thai.

made a Thai yellow curry the other day. Couldn't stop singing 'tie a yellow curry round the old oak tree'.....I had had half a bottle of wine, and it amused me at the time.

It was vv nice too, had to wear marigolds to chop the birds eye chillis.

Honestly - some people & their typos..........

if you can't face popping a bar up for too long until YG picks you up then you're welcome to get a bus up to my house - it's only one bus route straight out of town, so even you couldn't get lost on that!! (& I live fairly near the Sala Thai) - that is if dh isn't at the other end of the country on whatever date we do this on...

Hey ... count me in! Not been around a lot lately due to working silly hours (in fact only here now cos I'm working till about 2am).

I vote for the Sala Thai and I can make virtually any night in March after the 8th.
