I can do weekdays during school hours (9-3)

sammac · 06/02/2005 20:55

Hi Aimsmum, I can do weekends only as I'm at work during the week. Don't think we've ever had a proper Glasgow meet-up, but I've been to one in Edinburgh and Livingston, and Prettybird was there too!

Fingers crossed for this one

sammac · 06/02/2005 20:56

Sorry, remembered there was one in Princes Square recently, but was during week so couldn't go

I've been away on holiday (fabulous time skiing and ds now does great slices of pizza, aka snow ploughs )- so nearly didn't see this.

I can only do weekends - next few weekends are all relatively free, with the exception of 26 Feb. How about lunch on 19 or 20 Feb? Somewhere like Princes Square - not too far from either Central or Queen Street train stations. Buzzy Wares is goo with kids - and they can play on the mosaic if we get there early enough to get good seats.

Now if my previous track record on threads to do with meet-ups in Glasgow is anything to go by, I will now kill this thread stone dead

Prettybird · 07/02/2005 17:23

I've just looked at the other Glasgow thread and see that 19/20 February is not good for quite a few people. This weekend is probably a bit soon.

How about Sunday 27th, for those that can only make weekends?

It would be nice to meet some other Glasgow mums. I've already met Sammac a couple of times at previous (non Glasgow) meet ups and can vouch that she is very nice Our kids seemed to get on too.

AAAAAh, thanks Prettybird, you're lovely too

Can pencil me in for 27th, altho' am having a late night beforehand, in fact 2 late nights in a row that weekend, but will try my best to make it!

Prettybird · 08/02/2005 08:41

I'll have had a late night too Sammac - we're planning on having people around for dinner the night before (which was why I didn't suggest the Saturday, as I'll be slaving over a hot stove).

That's three of us - anyone else?

Still no-one else?

I'm always boasting about how friendly Glaswegians are - but we seem to be a bit shy on Mumsnet!

mumofelise · 08/02/2005 17:02

friendly but very busy i think. pencil me in as well please

Prettybird · 09/02/2005 08:54

Look forward to meeting you Mumofelise. That's four now. Any more takers?
