Right. If the lady in question does not mind an invasion let's have a look at paying her a visit.

Thursdays are the best day since her DS1 is in nursery.

Train from Waterloo takes 55 mins. I would suggest we leave after 10 (after peak fares if poss) and avoiding rush hour in London.

Egg - suggested dates are:

July 17th
July 24th
July 31st
August 7th

Let us know if any of those are good or bad and then let's see who can make what dates.

Now, when you say FRIDAY..... are you talking about our trip? Cause that's THURSDAY.

I'll bring a picnic rug too and some picnic items.

I am going to email Egg and copy you in Tyaca and then Egg should have almost all emails and we can swap numbers. I'm also going to text Bean to see where she is!

No steps at Winchester when you get off, but will need to go up and down steps to go back to London (at least you will all be together so can take it in turns, and there will be three of you, so wont be having to leave anyone unattended!!!).

tyaca · 02/08/2008 17:04

oooh, that will be like the fox and chicken and grain crossing the river thing. bagsy me the fox.

Egg · 02/08/2008 18:05

I wont be there, but I would choose to be the grain over being the chicken .

Right. I now have email addresses for all of you, so I will mail you all later in one BIG email so everyone has everyone else's (if that's ok).

Ooooooooooooooooh it is so very exciting. My second group of real life MNers! And I might be seeing one or two of my Zappata mates the following day too. Let's hope we don't get struck down by chickenpox or something in the meantime (am I tempting fate by saying that, a bit like when I said last year about how I predicted Beany was having twins and it would be a nightmare if I found out I was??????????????????????????).

Really must rescue poor DS2 from under the coffee table. He has flipped over and over and is now wedged up against the wall surrounded by three balloons and a lot of dust and probably spiders.

BTW, nice as slings are for leaving you handsfree etc, and easier on steps, but pushchairs are far easier for letting your babies sleep while we stuff ourselves with cake etc!

I have one travel cot here btw, so if we do end up here you can fight over it. Need to get another one so may even have two by Thursday! Oh, also have two pop up ones which we could take to the park if it is fine. Have never used them but they are for up to six months so only Tyaca's DD will qualify I think, but my DD would certainly still fit in!

I had thought about the fox chicken thing too actually and leaving a buggy alone at the top of a staircase, or on a railway platform

Egg · 05/08/2008 20:15

Right are we all sorted? Anyone need any info? Have just mailed you all. Tyaca has been quiet for a day or two.... hope she is still coming!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
