ok no probs enjoy the gym!

northerner · 03/02/2005 10:35

Hi Azza. Yes you can take a 3 year old - no probs. But it is term time only so won't be on next week. BTW I don't take my ds as I work on a Tues, so his Nana takes him.

Hi! I'm a Harrogate mum from Jennyfields too!

Have 1 ds - 16 months and another on the way!!

Theres a great Toddler group on a Friday afternoon at Grove Road. Theres loads for the kids to do, sand, water, painting, playdoh etc plus loads of chocolate biscuits for mums!!

northerner · 03/02/2005 14:52

Hi Steph24 - where exactly is this toddler group and what time?

Steph24 · 03/02/2005 14:53

Its at the nursery school next to Grove Road. Usually starts about 1.15pm although people arrive any time between 1 and 2 really.

DS loves Winkies and the Time machine.

The Soft play at the Granby community centre is good too and cheap and they have a toy library.

harrogatemum · 04/02/2005 09:12

Havent been on for ages and there are loads of you!! Thought there were only a couple of us. Anyone got any suggestions for good places to take tiny babies...seem to spend my time lugging my twins (12 weeks) round Sainsburys or M and S and thats about it!

Tiny babies are welcome at parent and toddler groups. There are quite a few babies of that age who come to St Marys (just off cold bath road) on Tuesday afternoons. It costs £1 fron 1:30 to 3pm with tea and biscuits thrown in. New mums very welcome, we all love twins.

If you go into Nucleus which is the expensive baby shop opposite Bettys you can get the out and about guide to Harrogate which lists all child centred activities in harrogate and has all the mother and baby groups in the area. There is a special twins group somewhere. I could dig it out and have a look if you like.

I know it would be great but its the whole internet meet up thing that keeps you that little bit cautious.
So whats everybody up to for half term?

azza · 07/02/2005 16:25
