Anyone fancy a meet-up? I know there was one a while ago in the Natural History Museum at Tring - but we could go to Wendover woods now the weather is nicer. Or anywhere really.

When are you due? I have just found out I am pregnant with no 3 in Feb!!! Where is my nearest hospital? Stoke Mandevil? I am moving to Wendover from abroad so trying to gather as much local info as possible!

Alambil · 20/06/2008 22:56

oh McD you'll have the woods on your doorstep you lucky thing!!!

It is LOVELY there! No idea about hospital though

Alambil · 20/06/2008 22:57

oh, yes - course! I forgot about him lol lol UD.

Tring is fine - was just suggesting woods for another meet, thats all

chocolatespiders · 20/06/2008 23:02

I am in Bucks......

theSuburbanDryad · 20/06/2008 23:02

I've absolutely no idea when i'm due McD, although i suspect it'll be around March/April time.

We went to Stoke Mandeville today and it was fab. You want Bucksmum for the local NHS info though, i think she's some kind of manager CAT her - she's very lovely.

McD - yup, Stoke is your nearest. Have heard lots of good things about it. Not used it myself as my last two were at home

Weekends are tricky as I have the whole brood and they have various activities. Coffee during the week's easier for me. I'm in the place with Milton's Cottage...

bucksmum · 25/06/2008 22:02

Stoke is best place to have baby in my humble opinion. McD let me know when you arrive I'll fill you in on best places lived in Bucks all my life!

So when we meeting up then? Picnic in Wendover woods would be great. I always manage to lose DS in the woods as he goes off in his own adventure world to build a den. He always comes back though when hes hungry.

McDreamy · 26/06/2008 06:15

Thank you Bucksmum, that would be great! Looking forward to coming to one of your future meet ups! Should be in Wendover/Halton November time, can't wait

feetheart · 26/06/2008 06:39

Can you count me in, I'm S. Beds too. I think there are a few of us though we seem to be very illusive.

Planning to meet-up with Seashell71 on Monday afternoon if anyone wants to join us - either cake at mine or picnic at Wardown Park. Let me know on here and I'll work out how to get in touch (slightly paranoid about leaving email address as it gives away too much - damn geeky DH with own domain name )

pellmell · 26/06/2008 07:23

Just did a "search" for wendover and this old thread came up. We are moving to wendover mid may. Will be moving with 3 year old daughter if anyone knows anyone with kids that sort of age for a play date?
