I'm bidding on a bed guard on ebay though just in case it all goes wrong in the night.

yes I think I shall get a bed guard when the time comes as DS seems to roll around a lot in bed.

Phoenix · 20/04/2008 20:02

I got the bed guard for £8

He's fast asleep, yay. I've put 2 pillows on the floor in case he does fall out

Well done, Phoenix. I like it when Ebay is a good friend!

Ikea is out for quite a while for us - the Ikea card is...ahem...'slightly' in arrears. oooooops.

itsahardknocklife · 20/04/2008 21:15

We finally got around to trying out our Thomas aquadraw today and it's great! DS didn't really get it and just tried to push the train, but DH and I thought it was fab

Phoenix · 20/04/2008 21:52

We've got some small Teletubbie Aquadraw things but they're a bit rubbish and ds isn't interested. The Thomas one is good though I was amazed at trace's ds'. How does the train follow the track?

It's magic! Honestly, I didn't really pay attention in physics at school, but it's the water and the battery together making a...erm...magic thingy!!
It works well - I was really impressed.

Friendlypizzaeater · 20/04/2008 22:18

I stopped using my Aquadraw as my LO loved to sit and suck the water out - then present me with the empty pen for me to fill up.

I changed my user name - I'm the newby Dawny but the majority of you will already "know" me as you WILL have seen me around but probably not spoke to me ......

itsahardknocklife · 20/04/2008 22:19

Oh right - I wasn't sure who you were either! Whereabouts will we have seen you around?

Friendlypizzaeater · 20/04/2008 22:28

Phoenix · 20/04/2008 22:45

Oh i've been to Leapfrogs loads but not sure who owns it It is a great idea i'd love to open a soft play place .

Phoenix · 20/04/2008 22:46

OP posts:
Friendlypizzaeater · 20/04/2008 22:49

Yep - but I also like to visit other ones (just to have a nosey) and of course my LO gets bored of Leapfrogs ....

I've blonde bobbed hair with a bright red wedge at the back

Phoenix · 20/04/2008 22:52

Can you come to JA's for pizza and alcohol?

OP posts:
Friendlypizzaeater · 20/04/2008 22:59

Yes - although I think I'm working till 6:30 serving jelly & ice cream humph interfering with my social life !!!

Alcohol - do do it - I adore Baileys and was most impressed with the offers the other week @ Tesco & Morrisons - had to force myself but hey you know how it is. But I will be driving so will be sober ....
