Hello all! Hope everyone is well - still without my laptop and even worse lost all my school stuff on the knackered hard drive. Am hoping that I will find someone techie who can get it off.

We went to an oddity of a play place today over in Diggle (just t'other side of the Pennines from Huddersfield) It's called Bouncers and surprise surprise mainly trampolines and bouncy castles. The good point was that from 9.30-11.30 it's under 5s so nice and calm, the bad point was that the drinks and food were quite frankly repulsive!!! No posh coffee makers here, we're talking half a tea spoon of Tesco own brand coffee powder! DH even asked them to make his chocolate again as it was so horrible but it came back just as bad After the drinks we didn't bother with food, but they were charging something ridiculous like 1.70 for a slice of cheese on toast.

itsahardknocklife · 27/04/2008 16:08

I shall certainly not be visiting that place then, Fatzak. If they don't do Lattes then it's just not worth it. Although Diggle sounds like a hilarious place to live in.

itsahardknocklife · 27/04/2008 17:50

Justabout, are those slippers any good for your DS2? And my DS is growing out of his current stock of socks - is it worth me putting them aside for you? You can never have too many, in my opinion, especially when they go walkies at play centres.

Knickers, I have a teddy for your DD. It's pink elephant that is very similar in feel to Flopsy. Just running it though a wash for you first.

And, last but not least, Twigy, I am forcing you to take a Peek a Blocks dumper truck and some blocks off my hands before it drives me crazy! And I have a Levi bodywarmer that might be good for your friend's DS. It is size 24 months, but won't do up around my DS' tubby tumtums!

Ah I feel better now.

NorwichMummy · 27/04/2008 22:25

Ah fatzak, I have friends who live in Diggle and they have suggested that ds and I meet them at Bouncers, think i may now refuse, or at least go in the morning and bring my own thermos!

Moving has finally come round, so I'm going to be off line for a while. Don't forget me if you're up to anything later in the week!!

itsahardknocklife · 27/04/2008 22:32

Hope the move goes well, Norwich. I think I have your mobile number in my phone - I'll text if anything is happening.

Just for a second, though, because I am going to go and see what a mess DH is making as he is doing DS' dinner

What shall we do for meets this week? Anyone fancy Leap Frogs on Thursday? I was going to say Weds but I have to go back to Occupational Health, and I don't want to.

itsahardknocklife · 28/04/2008 19:22

hiccymapops · 28/04/2008 21:25

Evening everyone

Have you all had a good weekend? I can't believe how nice the weather was on Saturday, we took the dogs for a walk and managed to play in the garden all afternoon-well, what was left of it after Bens nap! Good job we made the most of it, it didn't last all weekend.

itsa how's your little ones eye? Has he got a shiner bless him? They scare you to death don't they?

Is knickers okay? Has she stopped coming on now? If you're there, how did the interview go?

NorwichMummy hope the move goes okay.

Hope everyone else is well

Friendlypizzaeater · 28/04/2008 22:08

What time Friday ? OH has blagged day off so we were going to Castleford ready for my jollies in 3 weeks ....

Hello everyone else

itsahardknocklife · 28/04/2008 22:34

Hiya Hiccy. Yes the weather was so nice on Saturday. We were in the garden and DS loved playing outside. The rain yesterday and today stopped any thoughts of that though!
Yep, he has a nice shiner. It was a rather gruesome green colour today. He's got a lovely big scab too. Can you make Friday, Hiccy? Leap Frogs is nice (dunno if you have been there).
Pizza, we were thinking of 10.30 on Friday. Will you be around?

trace2 · 29/04/2008 08:50

hiccymapops · 29/04/2008 09:07

Morning everyone

I'll try and come on Friday. Is it easy to find and park? Mark's bought me sat nav because i hate going where i don't know, but i haven't tried it yet, and i know i'll still get worked up! I used to be fine before Ben, i'd drive all over the place when i was working. Now for some reason i'm convinced i'll turn the wrong way up a one way street or something! I've turned into a wuss

Oh itsa, i bet he looks like a right little fighter. Maybe if that horrible girl from Cheeky monkeys sees him, she'll think twice about messing with him

hiya trace Do you go to Royston baths? I want to take Ben swimming this year, kept meaning to last year but i never got round to it Is Jo okay? It's very quiet on here without her!

Hope everyone else is okay xxx

trace2 · 29/04/2008 09:18

hiccy i dont know where am going too, we could maybe follow each other i have a sat nav! i go to a private baths up milgate street in royston its only £12 for hour for 3, i used to go to an other but jack and leis(jo little un) got bad feet so we stopped, but that one was cheaper if more went

trace2 · 29/04/2008 09:19

oops yes jos fine she just fed up having no internet lol

itsahardknocklife · 29/04/2008 09:58

Hiccy, it's not too bad to find. I could meet you somewhere en-route and you could follow me if you like. There is parking there too. I hadn't thought of him looking well 'ard now - I might venture to CM this week to see if we can scare her!!

Trace, is that £12 for three people?

hiccymapops · 29/04/2008 13:54

Thank you trace and itsa I've got visions of us going in a convoy now

itsahardknocklife · 29/04/2008 14:22

When you drive towards Denby Dale (where Jelly Beans is) from Wakefield, you pass a sign pointing right that says Skelmanthorpe and go down there. We need Pizza here to give better directions than that!

trace2 · 29/04/2008 14:48

isa yesits £12 for one or 3, then anyore after that its £4 per adult and £350 for each child works out quiet dear if lots go but i like a pool to myself

hiccymapops · 29/04/2008 15:04

OOOhhhhhhhh trace, you actually get the pool to yourself? Can anyone book it?
