Hi. Good news about little P, Jo. What was it?

I've just directed sby called "MushyB" to this thread... be nice to her, girls

She'd like to know about M&T groups in Barnsley area if anyone can help her out.

MmeCellophane · 11/02/2008 13:11

Doh! Meant, Good news about Little Phoenix, Trace!!!!!

Phoenix · 11/02/2008 13:23

We are home

He's sat on my knee now fast asleep after not sleeping well for 2 nights and no naps for 2 days.

They've sent him home with antibiotics but don't actually know what was wrong with him. He is walking fine now although the blotches are still there but have gone down since Saturday.

MmeCellophane · 11/02/2008 13:35

That's fab news, Phoenix. You must be so relieved to be home.

ItsPotatoesForYouMyLad · 11/02/2008 15:24

thank goodness phoenix. glad you're home

fatzak · 11/02/2008 16:23

Glad you are home Phoenix You can have a belated birthday now

Phoenix · 11/02/2008 16:48

We've still got his in the night garden cake in the cupboard so gonna light his candles later and let him have a slice

The ab's are not making his nappies good eeeeeeewwwwwwww!!!

There's a few pics of him on my profile from his birthday.

MmeCellophane · 11/02/2008 17:15

Awww. Has he had chance to go on his trike yet or do his feet still hurt?

Phoenix · 11/02/2008 17:30

His feet are fine now MrsC he's running round like a whirlwind. Dh has wheeled him round the house on his trike but we're gonna take him out on it in the morning. My parents have bought him this trampoline for his birthday but he hasn't even seen it yet so we're taking him there to have a go on that tomorrow too so that'll be like his birthday again

MmeCellophane · 11/02/2008 17:35

Aw bless. I suppose at 2 he won't realise how much he missed out on the actual day. Happy Birthday for tomorrow, L!

Phoenix - had a look at your photos - it must have been such a worrying time for you. I'm glad the little one is home. Do you think he'll be well enough to come out for a play on Friday?

Trace - I shall give you the newer of the two walkers as I have discovered that the older one doesn't work very all. Every button makes it say 'this is the number 1'. It gets annoying after a while. Will you be with us Friday morning? Let me know and I'll give it a wipe and get all of the monster's biscuit fingerprints off it for you

Twigy, thanks for letting me come and drink all your coffee today x x

trace2 · 11/02/2008 18:33

itsahardknocklife · 11/02/2008 18:39

aw trace don't feel bad - it may end up not making much difference at all. She's a gorgeous wee thing.

Are you able to come for a play on Friday morning, or are you swimming / bowling / drinking pints???!!!!!

Glad baby Pheonix is feeling better, hope he enjoys his belated birthday, hope you are ok Pheonix as well, alot of stress for you.

itsahardknocklife · 11/02/2008 19:24

Is anyone interested in a hippo toy for their wee one? I have two like this:
cgi.ebay.co.uk/BOOTS-BABY-HIPPO-MUSICAL-TOY_W0QQitemZ250212968358QQihZ015QQcategoryZ131084QQssPageNa meZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
(this one isn't mine - it's only to show you what I mean)
Mine have been well played with and weren't new to us, but it seems a shame to chuck them when they have been such good friends to the little man.
They are free to a good home.

NorwichMummy · 12/02/2008 11:56

Hello everyone, so much been going on. Been in bed with a stinking cold since Friday, not good. Had to go to doctor yesterday and get antibiotics as I am an infection risk for my dad, luckily he seems to be ok at moment so fingers crossed. First day I have felt half way human is today!

Phoenix - so sorry to hear about ds, glad he is on the mend. The whole canula thing is scary, ds had to have one when he was born as I had Strep B, really upset me.

Potatoes - thanks for emailing your bf support worker, I really appreciate it.

Knickers - glad you have managed to solve your toy problem, we have managed to get a back up of ds's "cat" just in case it goes missing.... I think the world would come to an end!

Hello to everyone else (waves manically!)

Am free on Fri morning so hopefully will be able to join you. Have you decided where you are going yet?

itsahardknocklife · 12/02/2008 12:39

Hi Norwich, glad to hear you are feeling better. Hope you feel perfect by Friday! Not sure where we are meeting yet, but it'll be the morning.

brill news, Knickers!
I'm glad you're here, actually - we have just dicovered an inflatable play nest under the little man's cot. We got it from a friend (I think) but never used it ourselves. Is it any good for your DD?
