Canterbury or Whitstable meet?

Having recently started chatting to some kent mums on other threads I searched in vain for any Canterbury or similar meets, so I thought I may as well start one...

So, FioFio, Freckle, Fllightattendant, Jaz et al.... are you on for a local meet (ideally evening or weekend)? I spend my life with friends in London and would love to meet up with some locals instead...

Hello kent ladies. I would've loved to come too but can't make that date. Before you neck too much booze sort out the next date and I'll come to that one.

Fio, so sorry to read about dd's seizure. I hope things are a little more settled for her now. Take care, both you and dd. Thinking of you. x

hi meggle (yes delectable F&B shade in dreamy grey though I am bright red in the face at thought meeting mners in like, real life), cannot absolutely confirm since dp is working in wales regularly so evenings a bit hit and miss I'm afraid.

If can then will

mynaughtylittlesister · 26/02/2008 23:43

Can I come? I live in Deal, and I could possibly ask Pinkchampagne to come too!

Flllightattendant · 27/02/2008 06:14

Oops! Lost at the bottom of 'threads I'm on' for a coupla days there

I would like to but still not sure about the baby...he doesn't crawl or anything yet, so would sit on me happily for about an hour, if not asleep already.

So if Ok to bring him along, I'll confirm

I think Mum would have Ds1, I haven't been out of an evening in about 3 years...

Squiffy · 27/02/2008 09:20

Fiofio sounds utterly horrible - you must have been in pieces afterwards. Hope DD doesn't scare you again with any more episodes. If people are up for another meet-up afterwards then we can maybe do a lunch meet next time?

Flllightattendant am sure DS will have a great time with us

Think this is the list so far?

Pink Champagne?

Is cafe rouge ok with everyone or does anyone have any other preferences?

We shall stay a bit but not too late.

Flllightattendant · 27/02/2008 11:54

For anyone not sure, cafe rouge is in the big square near the (front) entrance to M&S

Hellooooooooo?

Anyone about?

Tis FA.

I have a hitch.

My parents get back from hols late on 12th, so am not sure if they will be able to have Ds1.

On the other hand they might have missed him so much I cannot keep them away

I shall let you know.

FloraPosteschild · 04/03/2008 07:50

I won't bring him though if they can't.

It would be terrible

He is human tornado.

OH NO! I'm so disappointed! (and I'm sure you lot are too )
I've got to go away for work next week. I'm really sorry I won't be there... (wanders off sobbing quietly...)

Nah, MV, I am a dead cert for this. I am on cambridge diet, and am so looking forward to breaking it for a night.

Saying that, I will have been three weeks without alcohol by next week, so I have a suspicion I may be calling you "my new bluuuurdy bestest mate ever" before I've downed my first chardonnay...

squiffy by name, squiffy by nature...

FloraPosteschild · 07/03/2008 11:46

Oh MV I am glad you would miss me

The weather looks hideous for next week so they might not be going after all, therefore I shall book them for babysitting if they are about.

Sod it, I'm up for feeding their cat, it's the least they could do!

Squiffy · 07/03/2008 12:38

Ingles2 - do your au pair woes mean you might not be going away now?

Would be great to meet you and get all the dirt on Lenny Kravitz chat sweetly about innocent things.

ingles2 · 08/03/2008 12:20

I said to Marmaduke..I'm sooo regretting giving away some of my secret sordid past. I'm an awfully nice respectable working mum now, don't you know!!!!
Still got to go to work, just have to take the kids with us now [worried]
I promise I'll be at the next one...
