birthday Sunday but am going out on Friday. Only one drink Ele becasue I will be driving and wouldn;t like you feel feel hungover on my account.

Well, I won't be driving so I guess I'll have to find some more reasons to celebrate if I'm only allowed one drink per occassion.

But, hey, OXO is coming. I'm sure she can help me out with a reason or two. You know what she's like.

Just called Gaucho to bump number from 8 to 10, and it appears anything over 8 people requires a set menu.

Thought the Bespoke menu sounded a bit poncey, actually - and sommelier likely to get in the way of the conversation!

Looking forward to it. Anyone travelling to back to Wimbledon who wants to share a cab? I'll probably go there on the tube/public transport but cab it home.

I've catted everyone to ask them to come here and vote for their menu. Quinteesential and Magnoli are not accepting CATs. So if anyone should spot them on another thread could you please point them here. I need to give the menu choice to Gaucho on Thursday at the latest (but would prefer to do it tomorrow if I can).

I haven't voted for the menu yet because I'm not really bothered which one and so am happy to just go with what others prefer.

Hi all. Glad to see that there's going to be some 'old' faces there and new ones too. Sounds like a fab night ahead.

Soooo difficult to choose one menu. I'm happy with all menus. I especially like the middle one. I'm also glad that I'm not vegetarian!

I'm also panicking - did Ele say she's only hvaing one drink? Has Hell indeed frozen over? What am I missing?
