I just popped back to the old thread to remind myself of the cost, and came across the menu. So I thought I'd post it again here, to set our mouths watering
The cost is £13 and for that you get:
3 course set menu
Starter: Chef's choice soup of the day or melon with a winter berry sauce or creamy mushroom and stilton crunch or prawn cocktail
Main course: turkey, beef and gammon at the carvery or poached salmon or mushroom, spinach, brie and cranberry Wellington. Then you help yourself to the veg from the carvery. Loads to choose from, parsnips, roast spuds, carrots, etc etc, plus yorkie pud and stuffing ball if you want it.
Dessert: Festive pudding with brandy sauce (Christmas pud to the plebs!) or black forest gateau or chocolate mint sundae (very yummy, have had it before) treacle sponge and custard.
