Yes I know its early to organise BUT I have managed to miss the last 3 (2 down to lack of sitters & 3rd stood u all up for Take That)

I have a weekend child free in Jan so KNOW I CAN DEFINITELY make this one.....if u girls are up for it and free

My suggestion is Friday Jan 18th.

Anyone free & fancy it or is it just too early to think about it

will even organise if that helps (Furball)

Itsthawoluff - you poor thing. I hope it wasn't anything you ate.

I'm going to e-mail you some better directions for Saturday (if you're feeling better).

My handwriting is terrible at the best of times, but when scrawled on the back of a ticket, in red biro, it's probably completely illegible.

LOL at "You were very loud mummy". Have you got to go back to the same showroom again?

Furball · 21/01/2008 20:21

itsthawooluff - probably a reaction to the syphillis! I hope your dh didn't have to do your horses youknowwhatsamajig

BettySpaghetti · 21/01/2008 20:36

eewwwww! Cheers furball! I'd successfully forgotten about the horses "youknowwhatsamajig " until now.

HonorMatopoeia · 21/01/2008 21:09

I seriously have to get the new laptop soon, have only just managed to wrestle this one from DH (well it is his work's computer I suppose!)
I had a great night, thank you all. I met the infamous man with the aubergine balls at Slouchy's Dd2 and my Dd1's birthday party yesterday - really had to try not to snigger (he was a very nice bloke too!) Lost the battle though when Slouchy's DH started talking about cheesy balls (the crisps that is!) Ran out of the kitchen swiftly!
Itsthawooluf - hope you're feeling better now, the kitchen incident had me giggling though I must admit!
Littlefish - thanks for coming to the party, was great to see you and Dd, sorry I didn't get to chat more though. Looking forward to saturday

Littlefish · 21/01/2008 21:57

Hi Honor - I did tell the aubergine-balled-one that he had been a hot topic of conversation. Lovely man that he is, he just laughed.

Lovely to see you too. Thanks so much for the invite. Dd had a great time, particularly on the bouncy castle.

See you on Saturday.

Itsthawooluff · 22/01/2008 10:27

Thanks all - no, dealing with the youknowwhatsamajig is an occasional treat, rather than a daily pleasure .

I think there is probably some freudian reason why dh wouldn't be able to bring himself to do it - LOL.

Slouchy · 22/01/2008 10:37

OMG, can't believe you told him littlefish! Although he would just laugh about it, such a chilled out boy he is.
see you sat, hope nerves aren't too terrible!

Slouchy · 22/01/2008 10:38

And at wooluff's whatchmacallit. Not sure what you refer to, but I can guess.

nappyaddict · 22/01/2008 10:40

ooooooh why didn't i spot this before now

Littlefish · 25/01/2008 12:17

Itsthawooluff - I've sent you a CAT with some directions on. I hope you get it in time. See you on Saturday - that's not an envy emoticon, it's an [I feel sick with nerves] emoticon!

BettySpaghetti · 25/01/2008 12:45

Littlefish -I'm not sure what the etiquette is, do I wish you well or say break a leg?? (or is that just for actors/actresses?) but anyway, you know what I mean

Please let us know how it went afterwards.

Littlefish · 25/01/2008 15:31

Yes Betty, it's tomorrow!

I have a rehearsal this afternoon with the pianist, and then a rehearsal tomorrow morning with the flautist and pianist. It's our one and only chance to get the ensemble pieces right!

I'll let you know how it all goes.

nappyaddict · 27/01/2008 02:24

hope it went ok littlefish would have loved to have come but didn't get back from cardiff until this evening.

Slouchy · 27/01/2008 08:31

Littlefish - marvellous, marvellous. You are one talented lady! (And I loved the ghetto-fabulous nails and toes too )

Well done!

Furball · 28/01/2008 07:00

just come on to see how it went, sounds like the girl done good!

Hope you enjoyed it littlefish

Littlefish · 28/01/2008 08:19

I absolutely loved it Furball. I felt so absolutely alive when I was up there. The part of me which is expressive and creative had somehow got lost over the years and it was extraordinary to feel it again. I had missed the adrenaline rush that pure fear gives you as well!

BettySpaghetti · 28/01/2008 13:45

Any plans to do any more littlefish? It sounds like you should.

I would love to come along if its closer to this end of the county.

Littlefish · 28/01/2008 14:02

I think the next concert will probably be near Southampton, so even further away!

My mum has asked me to consider doing one as a fundraiser for her local charity. As it's so far away, I will be able to do all the same material .
